Distinguished as Florida’s #1 private gated golf community, Black Diamond is a piece of nature’s paradise thanks to its spectacular setting. Members enjoy three Tom Fazio designed golf courses, offering spectacular golf outside the norms of typical Florida design, with significant elevation changes and broad fairways. The Quarry Course, which has ranked in the Top 100 Golf Courses for 22 consecutive years, features 5 breathtaking holes, set in and around an old limestone quarry, and demand well-placed shots. The Ranch and Highlands Courses provide equally challenging and enjoyable experiences, all amounting to 45 holes of truly outstanding golf. Incredible golf is just the start, however. The elegant clubhouse at Black Diamond provides year round dining and entertainment with an eventful social calendar, as well as fitness, tennis and aquatic facilities. The staff at the Club is always willing to go above and beyond to provide the best service possible to Club members and their guests. Residents of our award-winning community enjoy luxurious, tasteful homes tucked into the wooded landscape, a true retreat from the stresses of everyday life. The community features a quiet, gated environment with generous setbacks from the course to provide privacy.
Boating, world class fishing and year-round outdoor recreation are also part of the Black Diamond lifestyle. Blessed with rolling sand hills of up to 150 feet, an abundance of oaks and tropical vegetation, and a sunny, temperate climate, Citrus County is an ideal area for year-round golf and a wide array of other fun-filled activities. Unlike the rest of Florida, Citrus County’s Gulf Coast isn’t lined with condominiums and resorts. Whether it’s with family or friends, there are countless fishing opportunities, including world-class sport-fishing around the mouths of the many river inlets and the Gulf of Mexico. Kayaking and canoeing are popular pastimes on the area’s seven spring-fed rivers, and snorkeling and scuba-diving with friendly manatees in the Crystal and Homosassa Rivers are also great fun.
At Black Diamond you’ll experience the benefits of exclusive membership, world class golf, an award-winning community and lasting memories with friends and family.
