Shadow Wood is a private, financially sound, member-owned club. There are currently a limited number of Memberships available in the following categories:
A Full Golf Member is entitled to unlimited use of all the golf, tennis, bocce, dining & social facilities of the club.
An Executive Member is entitled to unlimited use of all the golf, tennis, bocce, dining & social facilities of the club. Must be under 60 to qualify for this membership.
A Lifestyle Member is entitled to all of the tennis, bocce, dining & social facilities of the club and limited use of the golf facilities.
Residents of Shadow Wood may join our sister club, The Commons Club, which provides access to the private facilities at the Town Center including the private Beach Club, Fitness Center & Spa, The Rookery at the Brooks Restaurant and the Enrichment Center.
Danita Osborn has been the Membership Director at the Shadow Wood Country Club since 2010. She graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Resort & Hospitality Management and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA). She serves on the Board of Directors for the Membership Directors Association of Southwest Florida and is an active member of the Private Club Marketing Association (PCMA). Danita moved to Southwest Florida from Massachusetts in 2005 and currently lives in Naples with her husband, Gregg and their son, Grayson.
Shadow Wood Golf Members enjoy three championship golf courses which are challenging yet comfortable for every level of play. The North and South Courses were designed by award-winning course architect Bob Cupp. The Preserve course was designed by distinguished golf course architect Arthur Hills. Over the past three years, all three Shadow Wood courses have been completely renovated by the renowned architect, Rees Jones. All of Shadow Wood’s courses are designated as Audubon International Cooperative Sanctuaries since 2006.
Designed by award winning golf course architect Bob Cupp and renovated by Rees Jones in 2017, Shadow Wood Country Club’s North Course features mounding, undulating fairways that overlook expansive lakes and scenic nature preserves.
Designed by award winning golf course architect Bob Cupp and renovated by Rees Jones in 2018, Shadow Wood Country Club’s South Course is open and more forgiving, with large landing areas and several distinctive water features.
Designed by golf course architect Arthur Hills, and renovated by Rees Jones in 2020, Shadow Wood Country Club’s Preserve Course winds around and through natural wild and wooded areas of undisturbed wetlands and marshes that are rich with native oaks, Florida slash pines, sabal palms, palmettos and other native vegetation.
The Shadow Wood golf training facilities rival the best in the area boasting a double-sided driving range with expansive tee areas and target greens and bunkers designed to replicate a fairway. The facility also has multiple short game practice areas including practice fairway and waste bunkers and large putting greens. At the back of the double-sided driving range sits the Shadow Wood Golf Academy, a unique facility designed for experienced golfers to sharpen their skills as well as beginners who want to learn the game. The Academy offers indoor video swing training, launch monitor, a club fitting studio, and features the latest in technological aids.
The professional golf staff works diligently to provide members with an unsurpassed golf experience including a weekly schedule of men’s, ladies’ and couple’s golf events. The golf staff takes an active role in pairing new members with groups that include players of similar handicaps to ensure enjoyment of the game by all.

Two state of the art Bocce courts adjacent to the Sunset Terrace Bar are available for members to enjoy at the Main Clubhouse! Whether you are a competitive league player or just looking for a social game to enjoy with friends, the new Shadow Wood Bocce program is sure to be something you will enjoy!
Shadow Wood Country Club offers a wide variety of dining venues, cuisine, and social activities. With several indoor and outdoor dining locations, members can enjoy everything from casual style dining to formal wine dinners to holiday parties and dinner dances. Our Sunset Terrace provides the perfect setting to enjoy the beautiful Florida winter nights around one of our six fire pits. A second full amenity clubhouse at Shadow Wood Preserve features a large open dining room & bar with a covered outdoor patio and fire pit overlooking the practice green.
The brand new Golfside Grill includes 260 seats, a large center bar, pizza oven, sushi bar, and spectacular open air views of the golf practice facility!
The Golfside Grill is a brand new open air, casual dining restaurant that seats over 260 members and guests, includes a large center gathering bar, and offers gorgeous views of the golf practice facilities. An in-house pizza oven and sushi bar are just some of the delicious dining options available at the Golfside Grill which is open daily for lunch, dinner, and happy hour in season.
The Lounge is a friendly and casual gathering space for enjoying cocktails and camaraderie.
The Club Room provides a more formal atmosphere available for wine dinners, prix fixe menus, and other fine dining experiences.
Lakeside is Shadow Wood’s main event space which features an indoor/outdoor bar, and a wraparound terrace for additional outdoor seating.
The Sunset Terrace located off of the Lakeside room features an outdoor bar, covered seating area, and 4 fire pits overlooking the 18th green of Shadow Wood’s South Golf Course and the Bocce Courts.
The Shadow Wood Preserve Clubhouse offers a comfortable and relaxed country club environment providing lunch daily in season as well as a happy hour every Friday evening with live entertainment. A newly renovated and expanded outdoor covered seating area with a fire pit overlooks the golf practice facility.
Shadow Wood hosts a full calendar of dining and social events including 2 weekly happy hours with live entertainment, holiday parties, themed events, cooking classes and so much more.
