Centrally located in the heart of Naples, Wilderness Country Club provides a lush tropical paradise with an “Old Florida” charm just minutes away from Fifth Avenue South, Waterside Shops and Gulf of Mexico beaches. The golf course community features just 300 residences around a classically designed Arthur Hills 18-hole golf course with complete clubhouse and tennis facilities. As the closest residential country club to the beach and Old Naples, Wilderness Country Club provides the ultimate luxury.
When renowned golf course designer Arthur Hills first toured the property, he called it “a rare, tropical enclave; really a paradise.” Over the years, Wilderness Country Club has maintained that distinction through a commitment to the long-term protection of endangered species and the local environment.
Situated on 200 forested acres on the east side of Goodlette-Frank Road, just north of Golden Gate Parkway, Wilderness was developed with the natural environment in mind. Each low-profile condominium building was carefully sited to offer long sweeping views of the golf course fairways, trees, sparkling lakes and other native plants. More than 80 species of birds and other wildlife have been documented within the community, which has been certified since 1999 as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary.
Wilderness Country Club is one of the oldest and most select private clubs in Southwest Florida. Our residential country club attracts members who enjoy superb golf, tennis and dining facilities in a smaller, more intimate community. Member owned and controlled since its inception, Wilderness remains a self-governed community with an active and dedicated Board of Directors who are elected by the residents.
From the moment you enter the front gate at Wilderness Country Club, you will be surrounded by beautiful landscaping which envelopes the golf course and low-profile condominium residences. Each building is carefully positioned to offer sweeping views of fairways, tropical landscapes and greens. Many of the two- and three-bedroom units have been fully refurbished for resale while others are like a blank canvas allowing purchasers to use their imagination and create a residence that suits their unique needs. Individual condominiums range from approximately 1,700 square feet to more than 3,000 square feet of living space and feature an abundance of glass that brings the striking beauty inside. Each residence comes with its own dedicated golf cart and golf cart garage, and many offer a wood-burning fireplace. With only 300 residences, friendships are easily made and newcomers feel immediately welcome in a setting where everyone cares deeply about the lush tropical paradise in which they live.
