A golfer’s paradise nestled in south Palm Beach County; with only 530 Golf Members, and two challenging 18-hole golf courses, Boca Woods is truly a golfer’s paradise. With approximately 265 Members per course, Boca Woods offers two of the lowest density courses in the Boca Raton area. 

The Woods Course, designed by legendary architect, Joe Lee, and the Lakes Course designed by famed golf course architect, Karl Litten, are quite different but equally challenging so that both high and low handicappers can enjoy play on either course. Our newly renovated practice facility will bring precision to your game with an expansive driving range, practice green, sand bunker and re-designed chipping area. Golfers have five sets of tees to choose from, and you can find them most mornings driving up to the tee of their choice in their very own golf cart. At Boca Woods you are sure to enjoy easy golf access and a regular game. 

Our experienced P.G.A. staff offers year-round tournaments, interclub competition, golf instruction and free weekly clinics. Our golf members enjoy camaraderie, challenging competition and fun. The Lakes Course

The Lakes Course was designed by Karl Litten who apprenticed to one of the greatest golf course architects, Robert von Hagge. Recently redesigned by Kipp Schulties, the Lakes Course tests the golfer’s skill as it brings water into play on 15 of its 18 holes. It is a beautifully landscaped course with a number of doglegs allowing for high risk/reward shot making.

The Woods Course

The newly renovated Woods Course was the first of the two courses built at Boca Woods Country Club. It was designed by golf course architect, Joe Lee, who has designed over 200 world-class championship golf courses including the famous Blue Monster at the Doral Resort in Miami, Florida.

The course is characterized by gentle doglegs, elevated, fast sloping greens and the strategic placement of numerous bunkers throughout its 18 broad fairways maintained in excellent condition.

Play on seven championship Har Tru clay tennis courts, with four courts available for night play. Participate in year-round leagues and interclub play. Members gather with friends under the Center Court Pavilion for socials, exhibitions, and round-robin mixers. Our renowned USPTA Elite Tennis Professional, gives private and group instruction. A new hitting wall and remote ball machine make training easy. Complimentary weekly clinics are offered to members of all skill levels.

Looking to try something new? Bocce ball and two pickleball courts are the newest club amenities.

Golf Course Renovations at Boca Woods Country Club

Boca Woods Country Club announces a $9 million “Woods” golf course renovation, in partnership with Rees Jones. The project was approved with overwhelming support by Members, over 70% in favor of the renovation.

Known as the “US Open Doctor”, Rees Jones has designed over 260 courses. Many of his courses have hosted major events, including multiple US Opens, PGA Championships and Ryder Cups, to name a few. Jones described the project, “Overall the course has really good bones and a tremendous amount of potential.” The finished project will showcase a more balanced course, creating multiple shot options and a better playing experience for all players.

A dynamic administrative team – including Director of Golf Course Maintenance, Bill Hirchert and Director of Golf, Jeff Gullett – is well versed in renovations. Hirchert has completed four previous course renovations through the Southeast, and Gullett recently completed a major course renovation in Boca Raton, prior to joining Boca Woods.

The project will break ground in March 2024.

This is an exciting time for Members of Boca Woods. In 2022, the Club (boasting two golf courses) completed a $15 million 70,000 sq ft facilities renovation including:

• A state-of-the-art Sports and Wellness Center (home to the Pro Shop, Fitness Center, Spa, Game Room and, coming soon, Golf Simulator)
• A luxurious and modern lobby, dining rooms designed for entertaining and the bar
• Fully automated Zoom meeting spaces, featuring AI driven robotic cameras, speakers and microphones

Other recent upgrades include the practice facility and short game area.

Racquet Sports Complex Upgrades

Boca Woods renovates the racquet sports facilities including new pavilions for tennis and pickleball, modern fencing, lighting for night play, retaining walls and two additional pickleball courts (totaling four).

Lounge, Card Rooms and Multi-Use Spaces

Boca Woods will renovate the card rooms and lounge space, used by Members for private events, entertainment and gatherings.
