Golf at Windstar on Naples Bay

Windstar on Naples Bay is an impeccably maintained eighteen-hole championship golf course designed by Tom Fazio. The course layout features five sets of tees offering a challenge to match players of all skill levels. The Windstar on Naples Bay golf program creates opportunities to compete in many different atmospheres. There are weekly golfing events for men, ladies, nine-hole players, and couples in competitive as well as social settings and annual major championships that are open to all Windstar on Naples Bay golfing members.

As one of the premier private golf courses in Naples, FL, the golf events at Windstar on Naples Bay are very well attended and have proven to be a very successful means of making new acquaintances. The official season kicks off in early November and runs through late April. DINING

Windstar On Naples Bay offers waterfront dining with both formal and casual fare in a variety of breathtaking bay side venues. The Bayside Dining Room hosts most of the member dinners and events and has a coastal casual vibe. Catch the sun set daily at The Sunset Bar and Lounge where you can grab a cocktail and mingle with your friends. Feel the sea breeze through the screened in second floor dining area, The Veranda. When you dine on The Veranda you can not only see the boats go by but you can hear all the sounds of a Florida lifestyle.

The Keewaydin Grill and Terrace are casual dining areas, open a couple nights a week for dinner and the home of our famous Sunday Cookout. Enjoy the open air dining overlooking the golf practice range with the Naples Bay as a background.

KEEWAYDIN BEACH AND SHUTTLE

Enjoy Windstar on Naples Bay’s private beach on Keewaydin Island. Experience the beach, nature and boating without packing up the car and braving the highway system. Members take a 30-minute journey on the Keewaydin Queen boat shuttle through the Rookery Bay Reserve to our private dock on Keewaydin Island.

SOUTH POINTE YACHT CLUB AND MARINA

A Private Yacht Basin Located within Windstar on Naples Bay. Windstar on Naples Bay is nestled along 2 miles of Naples Bay eastern shore and Haldeman Creek frontage. By land, we are just seven minutes to Old Naples and by sea just one mile across the Bay to Naples Dock and Marina where world class shopping and dining awaits. To the west there is immediate access to Gordon Pass into the Gulf of Mexico along the Port Royal corridor or to a southbound inland waterway passage to Keewaydin Island and Marco Island.

Southpointe Yacht Club is a 72 slip deep water yacht basin. Boat slips are available for sale or lease and allows you access to the pool and common area. Boat slips range in size from 33 feet to 72 feet with a 5 feet mean low tide.

Windstar on Naples Bay is Naples’ only gated golf community with its own private deep-water marina with direct access to Naples Bay and the Gulf. Naturally boating is an important part of “Windstar Living”. Southpointe Marina has 72 slips and can accommodate yachts up to 70 feet. Approximately one-in-seven Windstar On Naples Bay residents moor their boats at Southpointe. These boating enthusiasts enjoy Southpointe’s direct water access to cruise and fish in Naples Bay, the Gulf of Mexico and for many, the Bahamas. The yacht club has it’s own clubhouse with a large decked swimming pool where social mixers and events are held for members.

SOCIAL CLUBS

Fishing Club
The mission of the Windstar Fishing Club is to provide opportunities for Windstar Club members to increase fishing knowledge, share angling experiences and bolster camaraderie through monthly meetings, local outings and overnight trips. It is a natural fit for our Florida lifestyle and our location on the Bay. The fishing club is open to everyone and their activities include fishing the beach at Keewaydin and our Windstar ponds, guided trips both inshore and offshore, and overnight outings. The Fishing Club meets on the Third Thursday of the month at 6pm in the Keewaydin Room.

Book Club
The Book Club meets on one Monday a month at 10:45am and discusses a pre-determined book for that month from October through April. Optional lunch follows the meeting.The Book Club meets once a month and discusses a book for that month.

Bridge Club
Ladies Bridge, Fun Bridge, All Play Bridge, Social and Duplicate Bridge enjoy weekly games at the Club. This is a great way to meet new people.

Cycling Club
The Windstar Cycling Club welcomes men and women of all ages, cycling experience and bike preference. They ride together every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday morning (weather permitting), and have three guiding principles:. 1. Safety First — helmets are mandatory, safety lights are strongly encouraged, we ride along quiet streets wherever possible, and we help each other navigate busy areas. 2. Healthy Exercise — this is not a competition. It is friends old and new getting their appropriate amount of exercise in beautiful outdoor Naples. 3. Fun and Fellowship — we stop each day for coffee in downtown Naples, and for about a half-hour we miraculously solve most of the world’s problems!

Mah Jongg Club
Mah Jongg is held every Wednesday morning and afternoon at the Club. Beginners are always welcome.

Audubon Club
The Windstar Audubon Club enjoys monthly bird walks and bring in guest speakers to talk about Florida wildlife.
