Welcome to Carrollwood Country Club
Founded in 1972, Carrollwood Country Club was the largest Country Club community in the Tampa Bay area.
At the time the club would have been considered “in the country” as Tampa had not yet grown north to its current state. The club was very successful in those years and at one time had as many as 1000 golfing members and 600 Tennis Members. Fast forward 30 years to 2003 and the club underwent an extensive renovation. Not only were the golf courses rebuilt, but they were also redesigned under the guidance of the Dan Maples Golf Design Company. It took two years to renovate all 27 holes.
In addition to the golf course, all new clubhouse, pool and tennis facilities were constructed to create the new Carrollwood Country Club. Today, CCC offers the best in family amenities including; 27 holes of Championship Golf, a full-service clubhouse with banquet facilities, a full social calendar, 8 Har-Tru Tennis Courts, and a Jr. Olympic size swimming pool. While the Club has never been in better shape, we continue to reinvest into our facility to ensure it is a relevant and thriving property.
Membership at Carrollwood Country Club
All Memberships include primary, spouse, and children under the age of 24. Each membership will have a ONE TIME, non-refundable Initiation Fee due at time of application and monthly dues according to their category. Full Golf Membership
Enjoy full access to all 27 holes (Meadow, Pine, and Cypress) including greens fees and practice facilities for everyone listed on the membership. Full access to the Junior Olympic-size heated pool, fitness center, tennis courts, and social/dining events is also included. All items including food, guest fees, and carts will be charged to your member account. You may invite a guest to play at Carrollwood if the guest has not played more than 6 times during the year, with current guest fees.
Junior Executive Golf Membership (under 40 years of age)
Enjoy full access to all 27 holes (Meadow, Pine, and Cypress) including greens fees and practice facilities for everyone listed on the membership. Full access to the Junior Olympic-size heated pool, fitness center, tennis courts, and social/dining events is also included. All items including food, guest fees, and carts will be charged to your member account. You may invite a guest to play at Carrollwood if the guest has not played more than 6 times during the year, with current guest fees.
Tennis Membership
Enjoy full access to the Junior Olympic-size heated pool, fitness center, tennis courts, and social/dining events along with indoor and outdoor dining for everyone listed on the membership. You may play golf and access the practice range facility as a sponsored or unaccompanied guest at the discretion of the Golf Shop up to six times per calendar year; fees apply.
Social Membership
Enjoy full access to the Junior Olympic-size heated pool, fitness center, tennis courts, and social/dining events along with indoor and outdoor dining for everyone listed on the membership. You may play tennis or golf and access the practice range facility as a sponsored or unaccompanied guest at the discretion of the TAC and Golf Shop up to six times per calendar year; fees apply.
Golf at Carrollwood Country Club
Carrollwood Country Club, founded in 1972 as Carrollwood Village Golf & Country Club, is home to 27 holes of Championship Golf; Cypress, Meadow and Pine.
With 3 challenging and uniquely different nines, our members and their guests have the opportunity to play 3 varying course rotations each week. Cypress is the longest of the three courses and is regarded as the most difficult. Meadow, the shortest of the three, features small undulating greens with strategically placed bunkers guarding each green; while Pine features water on seven of the nine holes finishing with the 9th hole, an island green.
Carrollwood Country Club hosted one of the first Senior Tour Events, The Michelob-Egypt Temple Senior Classic, played in 1981 & 1982. Carrollwood had legends such as Arnold Palmer, Sam Snead, Billy Casper and two-time champion Don January roam our fairways. Don January won the first official event on the Senior PGA Tour – The 1980 Atlantic City Senior International – and would go on to win 22 times on the Senior PGA Tour.
Beginning in 2004, Carrollwood Country Club underwent an extensive remodel. This remodel included the redesign of all three nines by Dan Maples. Dan Maples is most widely known for his work in North Carolina, most notably Grandfather Mountain, which is continually ranked as a top 100 classic golf course. Most recently, all three nines were resurfaced with Champion Ultradwarf greens, which is considered one of the best putting surfaces in the world.
No matter your abilities, Carrollwood Country Club is sure to provide a fair yet challenging experience to all golfers placing an emphasis on accuracy and strategy.
Amenities at Carrollwood Country Club
Tennis
Carrollwood Country Club features an extremely active tennis membership. Our Certified Tennis Professionals are on staff to assist you with your tennis game. We have eight beautifully surfaced Har-Tru tennis courts accented with brilliant lighting for nighttime play. Leagues, clinics, lessons, singles, doubles, camps, tournaments, plus an ongoing schedule of social opportunities with fellow tennis players are all a part of our tennis experience here at Carrollwood Country Club.
Pool
The sparkling Junior-Olympic swimming pool is the centerpiece of the Tennis & Aquatic Center.
It is surrounded by a magnificent deck of pavers, palm trees, cabanas, lounge chairs and a large grass activity area. With the temperature of the pool kept warm in the cool months and cooled in the warmer months, members and resort guests will never miss a day of exercise, fun or just relaxing by the pool.
Fun activities poolside or in the water are planned on a regular basis including Kids Nights, Movie Nights, Barbecues and more!
For smaller children we have a fenced Splash Pad featuring a mushroom cap waterfall, tea cup and more. Directly beside the Splash Pad, is our covered playground, which is also fenced for our younger members and guests. Fenced off from the main pool, it offers a sense of security for all.
Carrollwood Country Club is the home of the Carrollwood Village Swim Team, a competitive USA Swimming Team. CCC is also home to the Carrollwood Village Master’s Swimming Program, an adult team for competitors, triathletes, or just those who enjoy swimming laps and being part of a fun group. Our SwimAmerica swim lesson programs are for children and adults of all ages.
Delicious salads, wraps, sandwiches, burgers and more are prepared poolside, at the Oasis Poolside Cafe, and our members and guests can enjoy sipping cool beverages made to order while unwinding and socializing. The Oasis Poolside Cafe is closed during the cooler months, but beverages and snacks are always available at the Tennis & Aquatics Center desk or you may order take-out food from the Main Clubhouse.
Fitness
Carrollwood Country Club’s state-of-the-art Fitness Center is located in the Tennis & Aquatics Center and features Life Fitness equipment, cardio equipment, and weights.
