Wycliffe Golf & Country Club in Wellington, FL unveiled its $18.2 million dollar renovation project to the membership in November 2019, showcasing the new contemporary spaces like “The Cliffe” (bar and lobby lounge) and “Flavours” (fine dining restaurant) receiving rave reviews from both members and their guests. Surprisingly, the project was completed ahead of schedule and under budget!
Not only was the Club’s food & beverage programming improved by the addition of the aforementioned spaces, but with a phased approach, a refreshed spa & fitness center, ballroom, driving range & short game area as well as an outdoor event pavilion, were all revealed earlier in the year.
The recently renovated Driving Range and Short Game area provide the members a practice facility second to none. The driving range features a 45,000 sq. ft. range tee, covershots canopy, and multiple target greens with bunkers to simulate shots players may encounter on the course. The short game area features two greens surrounded by bunkers where a player can hit any shot imaginable inside of 60 yards. The short game area covers 1.25 acres. These two areas make Wycliffe standout for those players interested in lowering their scores.
Because of the health of the project and a prudent approach to project management expenses, there was a great deal of added value included in the finished product. The Club added a new roof to the almost 100,000 sq. ft. building, major HVAC upgrades, and a beautiful water feature in the lobby – all of which were not in the original plan.
But that’s not all that was completed throughout the construction journey. While under construction for those 18 months, Wycliffe successfully merged with its homeowner’s association, resulting in $1M in efficiencies annually, as well as a streamlined and simplified governance structure. They were also able to complete a thorough branding study to differentiate themselves in the market and highlight who they are, with brand-new contemporary facilities and programming.

Each of the three membership levels entitles resident to full use of the newly renovated 100,000 square foot Clubhouse, 15 Har-Tru Clay Tennis Courts, 4 Pickleball Courts, Resort Style Pool, Thryve Spa & Fitness, Casual & Fine Dining restaurants and bars, Card rooms, Bocce ball courts and a full calendar to keep a very active social life.
Platinum Membership
Golf is your “driving” passion! Our full golf membership is tailored to members who wish to have full use of the two championship golf courses twelve months a year and receive a number one computerized golf tee time priority rating.
Gold Membership
Our gold membership is designed for the less avid golfer. Golfers who love to play and appreciate the game, but are flexible to a more structured schedule. This membership provides select tee time availability on the golf course from November 15 through April 15, which is considered peak season.
Silver Membership
Meet and mingle! Our silver membership is tailored for the tennis enthusiast and those that enjoy the country club lifestyle and socializing.
Golf at Wycliffe Golf & Country Club
Wycliffe opened in 1989 and saw fast growth. The East Course was designed by Carl Litten and has only seen minor revisions to maintain the original design. It was host to the LPGA in the early 90’s. It has long been one of the best kept golf secrets in Palm Beach County.
Each course presents a unique set of challenges. The East is a big golf course with large fairways and rolling greens that allows players to play through the air, or along the ground more like a links course. The West Course is currently undergoing a $2.8 million renovation, planned by industry-leading course designer Kipp Schulties. Players will enjoy modified bunkers and greens, brand-new turf and landscaping features and an enhanced playing experience. We look forward to booking your tee time come November 2022.

The Grille
