Membership at The Colony Golf & Country Club

The private, member-owned Colony Golf & Country Club offers a refined escape. Beyond our distinguished championship golf course, members enjoy exceptional dining, remarkable tennis facilities, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and serene poolside recreation.

A total of just 275 Full Golf Members may reserve their tee times up to 8 days in advance and enjoy golf as it was meant to be – in the company of fun-loving friends and neighbors.

New Members immediately feel at home and at ease, welcomed by the Club’s Ambassador Committee and invited to an ongoing series of fun New Member Mixers to discover all aspects of Club life and make unforgettable friends right away!

Unlimited access to the club’s dining and social events, tennis, fitness, spa services, and resort-style pool.

Unlimited golf year-round & ability to play in all Club Golf events, including weekly Men’s and Ladies Days, Social Couples Golf, Club Tournaments, Invitationals, and more! Tee times may be requested 8 days in advance. Golf Members also have personal lockers and complimentary golf bag storage at the Club. Golf Members may use a Club cart with a cart fee to play or use their own golf cart if they live in The Colony and have an annual trail fee.

Golf in Waiting Program

Active Sports Members desiring to acquire a Golf Membership may do so by participating in the Golf in Waiting program. This waitlist program is designed to offer enhanced access to golf and golf services to the top 40 on the Golf in Waiting List. Sports Members may secure their placement on the Golf in Waiting List by paying the differential of their Sports Member Joining Fee and 85% of the prevailing Golf Member Joining Fee, and have 85% of Golf Member dues annually.

Golf in Waiting Participants retain all their privileges as Sports Members, plus the ability to play unlimited in season (November – April) in the afternoons with 24-hour advance tee times and participate in non-trophied golf events, subject to availability.

Memberships Currently Available by Application

Unlimited access to the club’s dining and social events, tennis, fitness, spa services, and resort-style pool.

Limited golf in-season (maximum of 6 rounds per person, November-April) and unlimited golf May-October. Tee times may be requested 5 days in advance. Sports Members have a combined cart & greens fee to play, using a Club cart. Sports Members may not participate in organized Golf events. During season (November-April), Sports Members may use the practice facilities at any time on the day of play as well as on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, 12:00 pm-5:00 pm, with unlimited use of the practice facilities during off-season (May-October).

Golf at The Colony Golf & Country Club

Golf is a world-class event at The Colony Golf & Country Club. Our low-density membership grants the freedom to play whenever desired.

The championship 18-hole, par-72 course anchors our exclusive golf experience. Members enjoy the advantage of booking tee times up to eight days ahead, perfect for a round with friends or inviting guests. An intricately tailored playing surface for Southwest Florida, the course was resurfaced in 2017 from tee to green with Platinum Paspalum, with salt-tolerant, lush turf that retains moisture and vibrant green color year-round.

Golf Members take great pleasure in a calendar brimming with curated social events. With everything from Men’s Days, Ladies Days, and Couples’ events to tournaments and championships, Members enjoy graceful gatherings, spirited conversation, and a community where connections flourish.

No Chelsea System

One of the most personal and inviting memberships in Southwest Florida, The Colony’s Golf Membership is capped at just 275 Golf Members.

The Club prides itself on upholding the highest standards for every game, including maintaining convenient and seamless tee time booking and providing the pinnacle of quality for every golf experience. For those desiring to become Golf Members, The Colony offers an engaging Golf in Waiting Program.
