Located in the town of Mashpee and nestled along picturesque Shoestring Bay, this private enclave offers a lifestyle vibe fitting of the area—the feeling of a permanent vacation rather than simply a place to live. The centerpiece of the community is a meticulously maintained golf course dotted with working cranberry bogs and offering sweeping bay views. Dining venues serve up locally sourced New England fare—including seafood selections freshly plucked from coastal waters and a range of produce harvested from nearby farms.

Membership at Willowbend
Willowbend offers the very best of everything, and with different types of membership options to fit your lifestyle, you can make the most of your time on the Cape. Whether you want to spend time on the course or courts, pool or fitness center, or simply forging new friendships – you’ll find it all at Willowbend.
FULL
This all-access membership allows your family to enjoy all of the amenities and activities at Willowbend. Full member privileges also extend to their guests, subject to applicable charges.
- Full access to the golf course, practice facilities, dining, clubhouse, fitness, pool, racquet sports, and social activities.
- Includes spouse and children under 24 who live at home, are at school, or in the active military
- Locker and bag storage
- Non-refundable initiation fee can be paid in three annual installments
UNDER-45 FULL MEMBERSHIPS
Under-45 Memberships are available to individuals and families under the age of 45. Married couples qualify if each spouse is under 45 years of age. These memberships are offered a discount on their initiation fee, which can be paid in five annual installments, and a discount on their annual dues, depending on the age of the eldest applicant. Under-45 Memberships allow the same access to amenities as the corresponding membership type:

Golf at Willowbend
Willowbend offers 27 holes of championship golf on three meticulously maintained nines, along with a full calendar of golf events and practice facilities featuring the Cape’s only Toptracer Range allowing members the latest and greatest technology to make practice more productive, fun, and engaging. For many years the home of the Willowbend Children’s Charity Pro-Am, the course at Willowbend makes the most of its dramatic setting as it winds along Shoestring Bay and through the property’s beautiful working cranberry bogs. Over the years, the course has played host to some of the biggest names in golf, including Greg Norman, Rory McIlroy, Tom Watson, Gary Player, Nick Faldo, and John Daly — as well as other luminaries from the worlds of sport and entertainment, including Tom Brady, Bobby Orr, Samuel L. Jackson, and Peyton Manning.
In 2023, Willowbend hosted the Mass Mid-Amateur Championship and two additional major Mass Golf Championship events are slated for 2024 and 2027: the 2024 Mass Open Championship and the 2027 Mass Amateur Championship.

Dining
Willowbend offers four unique venues for dining and refreshment, all with a focus on delicious, locally sourced menu offerings. The Grille Room, located in the clubhouse and offering superb views, is a relaxed gathering place where the emphasis is on culinary perfection. Cafe Amici, located poolside, conjures up the lively sidewalk cafes of Europe and features a custom wood-fired pizza oven that produces some of the most delectable pizzas you’ll find anywhere on the Cape. Joe’s Grill, the club’s on-course place to grab a bite, provides sustenance and nourishment of all kinds to golfers. And The Scoop, located in the heart of Willowbend’s fitness complex, offers ice cream, coffee, healthy shakes and smoothies, and other treats.
Activities & Events
As a true club community, Willowbend has a full calendar of events and activities for the whole family, ranging from fitness and wellness programs and golf/tennis tournaments to culinary events, kids’ programs and the Camp Willowbend summer kids’ camp. Special events like the legendary Memorial Day Clambake and the 4th of July BBQ & Fireworks are perennial crowd-pleasers, as is the Summer Gala, a themed party that takes place each August. There’s never nothing to do at Willowbend!

With a full calendar of events and numerous kinds of surfaces and courts (including the region’s only tennis stadium), as well as pickleball courts, members of all ages can enjoy the racquet sport of their choice and make new friends while they do.
Pool
Willowbend is a family club, as exemplified by the many family members who gather at the club’s expansive pool areas for seasonal exercise and enjoyment in and out of the water including fun events like outdoor movie nights. The Olympic-sized pool is perfect for swimming laps, and it’s one of the club’s most popular places for the kids, whose laughter can be heard there from sunup to sundown. Food and beverages are available poolside at Cafe Amici and The Scoop.
