If you have a “best-matched” club in West Palm Beach, Florida, here are a few items of interest – outside the club – that can help make your trip here even more enjoyable.
Travel
Palm Beach International Airport (PBI)
PBI is one of the easiest-to-access airports in the country, with major carriers that include: JetBlue, Delta, United, Southwest, American, Air Canada, Spirit and Frontier. PBI is located less than 15 minutes from virtually all golf courses in West Palm Beach. When you’re headed back home, grab a bite a one of the many restaurants at PBI. And Yes, they do have a putting green you can use!
Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL)
While not as close to West Palm Beach – about an hour’s drive – FLL is a good option if you also have “best-matched” clubs in Boca Raton (south Palm Beach County) and Broward County. This is a much larger airport than PBI, and includes all of the major carriers: JetBlue, Delta, United, Southwest, American, Air Canada, Spirit and Alaska Air. Just factor in a longer time out of FLL because of its sheer size.
Shopping
Palm Beach Outlets
The Palm Beach Outlets, located just minutes from PBI, off I-95, offer such recognizable stores such as adidas, Brooks Brothers, Greg Norman, Nike, Nautica, Under Armour, Talbot’s, Calvin Klein and Chico’s. This 440,000-square-foot outlet shopping center also features more than a dozen dining spots and a Whole Foods.
The Gardens Mall
Twenty minutes to the north of PBI, on PGA Boulevard, is The Gardens Mall, a two-story, enclosed shopping mall with more than 160 specialty shops and restaurants. The “anchor” stores include Nordstrom, Macy’s, Saks Fifth Avenue and Bloomingdale’s, with such specialty stores as Vineyard Vines, Coach, Williams-Sonoma, and Kate Spade New York.
Worth Avenue
No visit to West Palm Beach would be complete without a trip to the world-renowned Worth Avenue. Located just 10 minutes from the airport and within a five-minute drive from CityPlace is the fashionable Island of Palm Beach. That’s where you’l find Worth Avenue, home to such stores such as Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Gucci, Jimmy Choo, and many other high-end international brands.

CityPlace West Palm Beach
This upscale lifestyle center, is only a five-minute drive from PBI. You can enjoy a night in the lights surrounded by more than 30 sensational places to dine, including Ruth Chris’ Steakhouse, Saito’s Japanese Steakhouse, BRIO Tuscan Grille, Cabo Flats, City Pizza, and Cheesecake Factory.
PGA Boulevard
When you’re shopping is done at The Gardens Mall, you’re only steps away from some great dining, at Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurant, P.F. Chang’s China Bistro, and California Pizza Kitchen.
