The eight-acre Trailhead Park at Chaparral Pines allows members of any age to enjoy the fitness center, swimming pool, tennis and basketball courts, a brand new 60,000 square foot sports field and dog park amenity for the members and and a children’s activity center.

Aspen Membership
This membership includes all the amenities of a Trailhead membership. In addition, Chaparral Pines Aspen members have access to the Chaparral Pines and The Rim golf course and clubhouse. Other elements include:
- Full (7 days/week) use of the Chaparral Pines and The Rim golf courses without payment of green fees
- Advance tee time priority at the Chaparral Pines and The Rim golf courses
- Daily use of Chaparral Pines and The Rim golf practice facilities
- Priority use of the Chaparral Pines clubhouse golf lockers and bag storage
- Play in Chaparral Pines and The Rim member and member-guest tournament(s)
Cedar Membership
This membership includes all the amenities of a Trailhead membership. In addition, Cedar members have access to the Chaparral Pines and The Rim golf course and clubhouse. Other elements include:
- Use of Chaparral Pines and The Rim golf courses Mon. – Thurs., excluding all legal holidays, without payment of green fees
- Eight-day advance tee times on the Chaparral Pines and The Rim golf courses
- Daily use of the Chaparral Pines and The Rim practice facilities
- Priority wait-list status for conversion to a Aspen membership, per the Membership Plan requirements and subject to availability
- Use of Chaparral Pines clubhouse golf lockers and bag storage on a space available basis
- Play in Chaparral Pines and The Rim member and member-guest tournament(s) on a space available basis
Trailhead Membership
As part of the Chaparral Pines community, those residents selecting a Chaparral Pines custom home site are required to participate in a Trailhead membership. This provides Chaparral Pines residents access to all the activities and facilities at The Trailhead as well as access to the Chaparral Pines and The Rim Club dining facilities and golf shop. Trailhead members may also be converted to a Aspen or Cedar membership upon request, per the Membership Plan requirements and subject to availability.

Chaparral Pines’ private championship golf course is an 18-hole, par-72 masterpiece designed by former U.S. Open and PGA Champion David Graham and noted Scottsdale-based architect Gary Panks. It was named one of Golf Digest’s “Top 10 New Private Golf Courses in the U.S.” when it opened in 1997 and consistently ranks among the magazine’s “Top 10 Private Golf Courses” in Arizona. The upscale casual atmosphere of the Chaparral Pines Clubhouse is a perfect setting for dining and visiting with family and friends. In fact, members are encouraged to consider the 27,000 square foot clubhouse an extension of their own homes.

The upscale casual atmosphere of the Chaparral Pines Clubhouse is a perfect setting for dining and visiting with family and friends. In fact, members are encouraged to consider the 27,000 square foot clubhouse an extension of their own homes.
This centerpiece of the community offers both indoor and outdoor dining. Service hours vary with the seasons, open Thursday through Saturday evenings for dinner and six days for lunch. Beautiful dining room furnishings and artwork add a touch of comfortable elegance to a striking lodge-style clubhouse and dining room, while the outdoor patio allows for seating overlooking the 18th green and tall ponderosa pines. A new water feature adjacent to the green adds the audible accent of a mountain stream to complete the experience.
Menus range from casual country club fare to international cuisine, and our specialty drinks and the well-rounded, selective wine list offers something for everyone for any occasion, whether just completing a round of golf or celebrating with family and friends. Reservations are requested and often required for lunch, dinner.
