The Glades Golf & Country Club is one of Naples’ most established and friendly communities. Amenities are top notch and inclusive. Mature Old-Florida landscaping surrounds 36 holes of golf, where members have the choice of riding for fun or walking for exercise.
With the purchase of a condominium you are appointed use rights of the amenities. The cost of which is included in your monthly association dues. These dues vary depending upon which section/phase you are to purchase in.

Welcome to the Glades Golf & Country Club in beautiful Naples, Florida, Florida’s Southwest Paradise Coast in wonderful Collier County. We are so glad that you’ve taken the time to view what we have to offer as a club community in a very competitive, golf-centric market in the Sunshine State.
The ‘Glades’, as we refer to our home club, is a bundled condominium community, 4-miles from the beautiful, white sand beaches on the Gulf of Mexico. As a bundled community, everything is included in your monthly membership fee.* There is no ‘wait list’ to golf, there are no initiation fees, and there are no transfer fees or ‘joining’ fees. Once you take ownership of your condo you are a full member entitled to use of all amenities and all the fun that comes along with being an owner.
Our two 18-hole golf courses are touted as the most pristine, beautiful courses in southwest Florida. Our Pines Course (par 70) may be short by today’s standards, playing at only 5,174 yards from the tips, but the best golfers with the lowest handicap find it to be a challenging course. In addition to the water hazards, there are plentiful out of bounds to avoid, including behind almost every green; it is a tight, shot maker’s course and the Paspalum Platinum Plus grass fairways ensure you’ll always have a preferred lie!
Our Palmetto Course is an executive (par 55) course great for everyone’s short game practice or a leisurely stroll with a Sunday Bag. The best part of being a member is both courses are walkable, at all times, seven days a week, 12 months per year. There is no trail fee, no walking fee, and our new fleet of EZ Go carts with GPS are available for a fee for those golfers who like to ride when the Florida sunshine dictates a more prudent approach.
The Glades has a state of the art, new racket sports facilities boasting a 12 court pickleball venue with lighting for nighttime play and six Har-Tru clay tennis courts.
The GTA (Glades Tennis Association) and The GPA (Glades Pickleball Association) have organized play and interclub league play with an active schedule throughout the winter months. All skill levels are welcomed and accommodated; there’s a slot for everyone!
Additional amenities include 9 swimming pools with a resort style pool next to our 19th Hole dining amenity with available poolside wait service. Our on-site management team ensures everything is run properly with special attention to the needs of all our members.
Our Activities Committee coordinates an ongoing list of preferred pastimes that includes Poker, Mah Jong, Bridge Club, Texas Hold’em, Corn Hole, Bocce, Library/Book clubs and Arts & Crafts.
So, if you’re headed south to look for a place to snow-bird for the winter months, idle away your time on the golf course, hang out at the beach, and/or you’ve decided to make the Sunshine State your full-time year-round residence, give us a look. More than likely the Glades Golf & Country Club will be a prefect fit for you!
Golf at The Glades Golf & Country Club
The Pines is our 18-hole par 70 course, a real challenge with many lakes, sand traps and twisting fairways. Golfers may ride for comfort or walk for exercise. The Ladies’ and Men’s Golf Associations sponsor weekly golf events and tournaments.
The Palmetto is our 18-hole par 55 executive course, an exceptional par 3 course. It is an ideal course for improving your iron game and is home of the couples’ “Gruesome Twosome” tourney played weekly year round.
Golf Activities
Glades Golf & Country Club offers more than 300 organized golf events each year:
- Tuesday: Ladies’ Day on the Palmetto – 8:30 AM Shotgun
- Wednesday: Men’s Day on the Palmetto – 8:30 AM Shotgun
- Thursday: 18-Hole Ladies’ Day on the Pines & 9-Hole Ladies’ Day on the Pines Back Nine
- Friday: Gruesome Twosome Couples on the Palmetto – 8:30 AM & 12:30 PM Sessions (shotguns) Owners Only
- Saturday: 18-Hole Men’s Day on the Pines Course with optional skins game
Other events include the following:
- Shootout
- Presidents Cup
- Member/Member
- Member/Guest
- Mixed Scramble with Cookout every Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day
- Both the Men and Women hold various annual tournaments open to any owner.
Pickleball at The Glades Golf & Country Club
The Glades Pickleball Association has been growing exponentially since the three courts were opened in 2020. As one of the fastest growing sports in the United States, Pickleball has developed a strong following here at The Glades. To see how Pickleball started, click here: History.
As of March 1, 2024, the association has expanded to include over 500 members. Due to the growing international popularity of Pickleball, and the growth of involvement by Glades’ residents, 12 new lighted courts became available for play during the 2023-24 season. It is an exciting time to be involved with Pickleball at The Glades as we implement new courts and schedules, multiple competition methods, and more social events!
A True Glades-Type Country Club Community Activity
- Anyone of any age who can hold a paddle can play.
- A great and fun way to get exercise; one-half hour of play burns from 250-400 calories.
- As with most physical activity that requires focus and agility, it is also good for mental health and physical well-being.
- Seniors playing pickleball three times a week saw improvement in blood pressure/cardiovascular fitness.
Tennis at The Glades Golf & Country Club
The Glades Tennis Association fosters a welcoming and active community for players of all levels.
It is dedicated to the growth and promotion of tennis in the Glades community, and oversees play among association members and their guests for the enjoyment of all.
What We Offer
- 6 beautifully maintained Har-Tru clay courts; the premier surface for safe, low-impact play.
- Membership includes on-site group instruction by our USPTA Certified Professional.
- Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed doubles competitive travel team league play:
- CTA – Collier County Tennis Association
- NETA – Naples East Tennis Association
- USTA – United States Tennis Association
- Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed doubles round robin play.
- Ball machine available for all members to use.

Not only do we have fun playing tennis, but the Glades Tennis Association sponsors several social activities:

The Glades Tennis Association provides Social memberships for those Glades owners, renters, and guests that are interested in Tennis but do not play.
As a member of the Glades Tennis Association, you will experience the camaraderie and support of a vibrant community of tennis players and enthusiasts.
Dining Amenities at The Glades Golf & Country Club
The 19th Hole restaurant serves tasty lunches daily featuring homemade soups, salads and sandwiches, superb Sunday breakfast during our high season, and dinners several evenings each week. Come for Happy Hour and enjoy discounted drink prices. With a beautiful view of the golf course and the pool, the 19th Hole is a fun place to meet your friends or make new ones.
Lifestyle at The Glades Golf & Country Club
The Glades Golf and Country Club is tucked away in a secluded area, yet conveniently close to downtown Naples & 5th Ave, the Gulf of Mexico & beaches, Marco Island, shopping, and restaurants. With the purchase of a condominium unit, you receive membership to the club for 2 persons on the deed. The cost of which is included in your monthly association dues.
A wide variety of social activities are available to enhance the enjoyment and quality of life at the Glades for all owners. These include: Art classes, Bingo, Cards & Table Games, Dinner Dances, Karaoke, Seminars, Trips & Tours and Various Sports Activities- Bocce, Bowling, Golf, Pickleball, Tennis, Water Aerobics & Yoga.
