Membership at The Club at Ruby Hill

At The Club at Ruby Hill, we know that outstanding privileges and world-class amenities are just as important as the intangible benefits that come with private club membership – a sense of community, camaraderie and belonging. We offer a variety of attractively-priced golf, social and corporate memberships that give you both: Access to one of the Bay Area’s most celebrated championship layouts, and a year-long schedule of events designed to engage and delight every member of the family.

Golf Membership

Golf members and their immediate family members enjoy access to the golf course, practice facility and all of the club’s amenities, including tennis, fitness, swim complex, bocce ball and dining, along with inclusion in all social activities.

We offer three types of Golf Memberships: Individual Golf, Family Golf and Full Family Golf, as well as Corporate Golf and Young Professional Golf Memberships.

Athletic Membership

Athletic members and their families enjoy unrestricted access to the club’s dining facilities, co-ed fitness facility, personal training and nutrition services, fitness classes (including yoga, weight training and aqua classes), lighted tennis courts, heated Jr. Olympic swimming pool, spa and bocce courts, along with participation in all of the club’s social activities.

Social Membership

Social members and their families have access to all of the club’s dining facilities, social events, year-around heated swimming pool, and bocce courts. Social members may host two foursomes per calendar year on the golf course with applicable discounted fees, and may also host private events at the club including family parties and business meetings.

Golf at The Club at Ruby Hill

Iconic player-designer Jack Nicklaus winner of 18 Professional Major Championships chose this pristine swath of terrain as the site of his first Northern California golf course, etching one of his most imaginative championship layouts ever into the Livermore Valley amidst more than 53 picturesque vineyards.

Towering oaks frame all-weather Bermuda grass fairways and Nicklaus’ signature wide, contoured Crenshaw bent grass greens, with numerous elevation changes, breathtaking vistas and magnificent water features creating both strategic diversity and a stunning backdrop for golf. Five sets of tees on each hole enable golfers of all ages and abilities to enjoy this adventurous par-72 test of golf, which measures 7,400 yards from the Nicklaus tees – making it the longest golf course in Northern California.

Members can enjoy a round of golf with family, friends and guests; compete in members-only tournaments and leagues; or host golf outings and tournaments, with an experienced team of tournament management experts available to assist with every detail.

Hone Your Skills

Golfers can sharpen their skills on Ruby Hill’s expansive 14-acre golf practice facility, the ideal venue for perfecting every aspect of one’s game in a serene natural environment. The most extensive golf practice facility in Northern California, it features an all-grass driving range, target greens with multiple yardages, practice bunkers and putting greens.

Golf Shop

Located in Ruby Hill’s spectacular villa-style clubhouse, the golf shop offers an expansive array of premium-brand equipment, apparel, gift items accessories, including custom golf clubs with fitting available on-site. Taylor Made, Callaway, Ping, and Ttleist anchor the club selection offered along with specialty Demo Days from PXG.

Our extensive in-stock apparel includes the latest men’s designs from Adidas, Travis Mathew, Johnnie-O, Footjoy, Galvin Green and Dunning and top women designers GG Blue, Jofit, Daily Sports, Golfino and Adidas – along with a large selection of children’s apparel from Travis Matthew, Adidas and Garb.

From golf polo’s, shorts and hats to sunglasses and performance outerwear, we have what you need to look and feel your best on and off the course. Customized logo’d shirts and tee gift items are also available, along with our beautifully-embroidered Ruby Hill logo’d apparel.

Dining & Social at The Club at Ruby Hill

From exceptional golf to delicious dining, we pride ourselves on exceeding members’ and guests’ expectations by delivering superlative service and member care – and the club’s sumptuous dining options are no exception. The Club at Ruby Hill’s talented executive chef and culinary team offer continually-changing, creatively-imagined menu options prepared fresh daily, incorporating seasonal specialties and locally-grown produce. The same mouth-watering fare can be enjoyed during special events conducted on-site.

Dining Experience

The Reserve offers appetizers and main courses, as well as a vast selection of domestic, imported and micro-brewed beer, wine and cocktails from Wednesday through Sunday.

The Grille

For a more casual dining setting, or to grab a quick bite at the turn, stop by The Grille at Ruby Hill – offering a variety of sandwiches, snacks, fruit and beverages, with al fresco dining available on The Grille patio overlooking the 18th green.

Clubhouse

Located in Ruby Hill’s spectacular clubhouse overlooking the 18th green, the Main Dining Room offers delectable dishes for lunch and dinner from Tuesday through Friday nights. Throughout the year, special dining events including themed holiday meals, winemakers’ dinners and a mouth-watering Sunday brunch are also hosted in the Main Dining Room, featuring lovely décor and dramatic views of Mount Diablo.

Social Activities

From golf and tennis mixers to themed dinners, holiday parties, family celebrations and fundraising opportunities, members can participate in a myriad of activities designed to create unforgettable memories and forge lasting friendships. Ruby Hill’s year-long schedule of members-only activities is highlighted by our Sunday Champagne Brunch, featuring a lavish array of delicacies including made-to-order omelets and waffles, a carving station, seafood and sushi bar, and more – with special menus available on Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Easter and other holidays.

Amenities at The Club at Ruby Hill

The Club at Ruby Hill—the prestigious private club nestled in the Livermore Valley wine country—boasts a recently completed $2+ million transformation of its state-of-the-art Fitness Center, now spanning 2,600 square feet. This innovative facility, complemented by the club’s junior Olympic-sized swimming pool and tennis complex, positions Ruby Hill as one of Northern California’s premier destinations for health, wellness, and recreation.

The Fitness Center offers cutting-edge strength and cardio equipment, including Freemotion’s advanced 22 SERIES machines, TRX trainers, sleds, kettlebells, and assault bikes. Members can enjoy expertly designed workout spaces, including a group fitness studio, functional training areas, a recovery room, and access to an outdoor fitness yard. Personal trainers provide tailored programs, including individual and group training, and an extensive schedule of classes such as Yoga, Pilates, Bootcamp, Water Aerobics, and Boxing.

Fitness Center

Golf and Athletic Members have full access to our locker rooms and fitness facilities. Each locker room has a separate fitness facility for men and women. The Club at Ruby Hill has an additional coed fitness facility located at the Tennis and Swim Complex for our Golf and Athletic Members.

Swim Center

The Club at Ruby Hill’s swimming pool is heated year-around and open 6 days a week to all Members. It’s also home to Ruby Hill Aquatics and the Ruby Hill Red Raiders. Now with year-around programming for kids and adults, there’s always something to do at The Club at Ruby Hill’s Pool.

Tennis

Ruby Hill offers four lighted regulation tennis courts. They are available year-around and are open for play daily. Find the perfect match for adult and junior leagues or clinics.
