Golf at Petram Resort & Residences
Whether you are an experienced golfer or a curious beginner, one of the best golf courses in the region is at your disposal. Opened in 2009, this 18-holes competition course with a total length of 6,360 meters, spread over 80 hectares, features an interesting course layout that challenges players of all levels. The playground is literally blended into the landscape, shaped by rocks, natural lakes and evergreen and typical vegetation for the Mediterranean. There are five starting positions on each field, and each field offers a unique view of the colorful Istrian landscape.
Course design
The course was designed by the DI. Diethard Fahrenleitner and DI. Barbara Eisserer, who assigned the Austrian Golf Art Landscape award.
On Golf ADRIATIC | PGA National Croatia, as well as on all courses by the sea, the wind can play a significant role, along with strategically placed bunkers and skilfully crafted greens. The course is literally blended into the landscape, shaped the rocks, natural ponds, and evergreen vegetation, which is typical for the Mediterranean region. On every hole, there are 5 tee positions, and with each hole a unique scenery and landscapes that are reflected in their descriptive names like Vineyard, Seaview, Olivetree, Romanic Church…
