Representing clients in some of the most sought-after locations in the United States, John Buttemiller is an expert in private club based and luxury real estate. He began his career as a golf professional at Desert Mountain in Scottsdale, then transitioned into marketing and selling golf real estate. The list of communities he has represented include Desert Mountain, Estancia, Mirabel in Scottsdale, Arizona, Spanish Oaks and Vaquero in Texas, The Santa Lucia Preserve in Carmel and most recently The Vintage Club in Indian Wells, California as it’s onsite real estate broker. In January 2020, John joined Desert Sotheby’s International Realty in the Greater Palm Springs area. As John said, “I felt it was time to put my knowledge, experience and relationships to work and have the ability to represent clients all over the Coachella Valley”. John’s philosophy has always embraced a commitment to his clients as a “Trusted Advisor” and this commitment continues to serve him and his clients well as he transitions into the next exciting phase of his real estate career. Since joining Desert Sotheby’s International Realty, John has either listed or sold properties in several of the Coachella Valley’s premier clubs and developments, including The Vintage Club, The Reserve, Ironwood CC, The Hideaway, Tradition and Mirada Estates. He also has intimate knowledge of Bighorn, Madison Club, Toscana, Andalusia, El Dorado, and Thunderbird.
