Welcome to Alamance Country Club
Alamance Country Club has grown to become one of the most desirable private country clubs in the North Carolina Triad Region. The Club is owned by its members, governed by an elected board and managed by a certified professional staff. The Club has several committees who are charged with ensuring that the facility is operated in a manner that promotes a strong member-management relationship.
Alamance Country Club provides members with a multitude of first class golf, tennis, fitness, dining, and swimming amenities:
- Our 18-hole championship golf course, designed by Donald Ross, provides a unique challenge for advanced and novice golfer alike.
- Eight tennis courts, consisting of five lighted Composition Courts and three Deco-Cushion Courts, are always well maintained and in use.
- The fitness center is outfitted with state-of-the-art fitness equipment and knowledgeable staff to ensure the optimal exercise experience.
- Our recently renovated dining room offers both an elegant and casual atmosphere for the family or professional affairs with attentive personalized service.
- Come and have a drink one day after work or join us for Friday Jazz Night in the 1946 Grill.
- Book one of our spacious meeting and banquet rooms to host anything from an intimate gathering to an extravagant wedding reception.
- From Memorial Day to Labor Day enjoy a relaxing day by the pool with outdoor dining, slides, diving boards and 25-yard lap lanes for those serious swimming.
Membership in Alamance Country Club is by invitation only. To be considered for membership, a member must sponsor you, and two other members must act as your endorsers.
Membership at Alamance Country Club
Full Membership
A Full Membership entitles the member, their spouse and children under the age of 25 to all amenities offered by Alamance Country Club, including: Unlimited use of the golf course, driving range and short game practice facility, full use of the tennis facilities, fitness center, swimming pool, clubhouse, and access to all dining areas and social events.
Athletic Membership
An Athletic Membership entitles the member, their spouse and children under the age of 25 to: use of the tennis facilities, fitness center, swimming pool, clubhouse, and access to all dining areas and social events. Additionally, an Athletic Member is entitled to play up to 6 rounds per year. When those rounds are played the member is charged the Guest Fee of the Day.
Elon University Collegiate Membership
Access to all amenities of Alamance Country Club with unlimited use: Golf, Tennis, Fitness, Clubhouse Dining. Parents have access with associated fees. Monthly Dues will be waived during a semester if student is studying abroad internationally. The student must be enrolled at Elon University. The student’s primary residence, must be outside a 30-mile radius from the Club.
Elon University Parent Affiliate Membership
Renewable August 1st and provides access to all amenities. Parents are responsible for guest fees associated with each service or activity used. Parents must live outside a 30-mile radius from the club and have a student actively enrolled at Elon University. Club usage by student is limited to times when accompanied by a parent member Collegiate Membership
Golf at Alamance Country Club
Golf at Alamance Country Club has been a cornerstone of the Club experience since it was founded in 1946.
Today, the classic Donald Ross design is impeccably maintained to provide championship playing conditions throughout the season. A restoration of greens and bunkers was completed in 2020. Several new tees were also added to lengthen the course. Numerous teeing options offer an enjoyable test for all who play.
Our staff of PGA Certified Professionals is available to enhance the golf experience for members and guests at the Club. The golf shop offers top of the line apparel and equipment options. Club storage, handicapping, and club repair services are also available. We offer individual and group instruction for all facets of the game and optional video analysis equipment to help you achieve your goals. These amenities create a truly full-service golf operation.
Other amenities of the facility include a practice range, two putting greens, short game practice area and our state of the art teaching center. There are also numerous tournament opportunities for men, women, couples, and juniors throughout the year. The professional staff takes great pride in junior golf by providing several instructional opportunities, club fitting, and course accessibility.
Regardless of age or ability, Alamance Country Club is a magnificent setting to enjoy the game while making memories with family and friends.

Fitness
Alamance Country Club offers first-class fitness facilities and a full range of ways to get you moving: Follow your own workout regimen, participate in the interactive fun of group fitness classes, or enjoy the personal attention of a certified fitness specialist, all in our state-of-the-art facilities overlooking the beautiful #9 green.
Pool
Alamance Country Club has a 25-yard pool that is professionally staffed by certified lifeguards.
Sunbathers will find plenty of room to relax around the pool or in the shade of the umbrellas. Deck chairs, tables and chaise lounges are also provided for the enjoyment and convenience of our members. Our main pool features a diving board, water slide, basketball goal, and a zero entry with bubblers. Our resort style adult pool offers a quiet area to sit on the pool’s sun-shelf, read in the shade or cool off in the water while talking with friends.
The Pool’s Snack Bar offers members many menu options such as hamburgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, wraps, salads, milkshakes, soft drinks and more. Members are welcome to host private gatherings and birthday parties at the pool with individual menus provided for those special occasions. Full deck service is available all summer long.
The pool hosts a number of social events, such as Memorial Day Picnic, July 4th celebration. Movie Night at the Pool, and much more.
There are many instructional opportunities at the Alamance Country Club pool. Private swimming lessons are available to all ages and abilities of swimmers. We also have a Swim Team which encourages sportsmanship, camaraderie and participation.
The Pool is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Racquet Sports
Our Racquet Sports facilities and programs provide something for everyone. We have three lighted, Hydro courts, three lighted Deco cushioned hard courts, four pickleball courts, basketball court and playground.
If you don’t have a partner available to hit some balls with, you are welcome to stroke a few on our expansive hitting wall or try out our high-tech Playmate Ball Machine. If it’s equipment you need, our Racquet Sports Shop offers performance tennis rackets, pickleball paddles, professional racquet stringing and accessories.
Our tennis and pickleball programs at ACC are extensive, accommodating all ages, levels and interests of players. Juniors are given the opportunity to participate in various lessons and clinics in addition to club team matches, tournaments, interclub and many fun events. Adults are urged to join us for a lesson or a clinic. We also have some slightly more competitive options: Men’s and Ladies’ Nights, interclub matches and club championships.
New members are encouraged to bring their families out for a free hitting lesson with one of our PTR certified tennis professionals or PPR certified pickleball professionals. No need to worry about racquets, paddle, or balls; we have plenty for you to borrow. Our pros will be happy to explain the various adult and junior activities and make some suggestions for each member of the family to begin participating.
The Racquet Sports facility is open seven days a week.
Dining at Alamance Country Club
Alamance Country Club offers a full-service Food and Beverage department which is the heart of our dining and social functions. Our dedicated, professional and friendly staff will always do everything possible to ensure that your experience is both pleasurable and memorable.
Dining is available in a tasteful and polished atmosphere in our main dining area, the 1946 Grill. The large windows throughout allow you to enjoy the beautiful view while savoring our wonderfully prepared food accompanied by our impeccable service.
Coming this summer will be a relaxed and fun venue for the whole family to enjoy. Come hang out after a round of golf, pickleball match, workout, tennis practice or just to have a casual bite to eat. The teenagers can enjoy their own room to game and hang out, families can meet up to dine together, or have a grown ups night at 360° bar overlooking the 18th green.
Seasonally a new poolside bar and pick up window will be open to serve all summer long.
Special dinner and social events are scheduled for various holidays and other times throughout the year. These include such events as Bourbon Club, Wine Dinners, Easter, Mother’s Day, July 4th Picnic at the Pool, Thanksgiving and Christmas Buffets, as well as casual and formal seasonal parties.
A wide variety of children’s events are scheduled throughout the year. Some of our annual marquis events include a Bunny Breakfast and Egg Hunt, Halloween “Spooktacular” Buffet, Fall Festival and a Brunch with Santa.
