Connie on the experience she and her husband are having with Golf Life Navigators:
“It’s been a really good experience. People come into Florida different ways. We came in as East Coast Florida people. We weren’t sure we liked it or that it was for us. We visited friends over Thanksgiving [2015] in Naples and the West Coast had such a different feel; we were amazed by how many people we knew there.
I love the ocean and knew I wanted to live by it and see it every day; but I didn’t want to live on a golf course or in a golf course community. Golf is a big part of my husband’s life, it is part of his network and how he connects. I golf too and have been around it all my life.
After we found a place near the ocean that had everything we wanted, we wanted to find a golf club nearby that we liked. We were introduced to Lynn Josephson of Golf Life Navigators [co-founder]. Lynn got us. Most importantly, he listened and didn’t sell. People don’t want to be sold. I do marketing for a living and if you can meet consumers where are, that creates engagement. That is how he approached us, and he very quickly helped us find the club that works for us.
We joined Naples Country Club. It is close to our home – we can reach it in a few minutes – and it has the sense of community we sought. There are a lot of people there like us, people who don’t want to live in a golf community but wanted a golf club that provides social connection, great golf and dining, and everything else we wanted.
Golf Life Navigators are experts at what they do. They made our experience so much less stressful and overwhelming. We are confident that we chose the right club thanks to GLN, and we likely wouldn’t have done so as easily and enjoyably if it wasn’t for the company. We plan to stay in touch with Lynn and GLN, to tap their expertise in other areas related to the South Florida market, and because they’re new friends.”
