As you enter the gates of The Venice Golf and Country Club thorough a stunning canopy of oaks, pines and palms, you will experience a feeling that you have come to a very special place. The Community is a serene and private neighborhood set among 460 acres of lush tropical beauty. This welcoming and peaceful environment continues to embrace with landscapes featuring a championship par 72 course that winds its way among an exclusive number of homes, 26 lakes and 13 natural preserves. The recent $2.5 Million renovation included the addition of a state of the art irrigation system and expansive practice facility with two short game play areas.
Membership Lifestyle
The Venice Golf and Country Club is the perfect place to enjoy an extraordinary lifestyle with an exceptionally welcoming and active membership. Because of its size, the Club has an intimate sense of identity and spirit. Neighbors greet neighbors as they drive in their private golf carts through the mature landscaped streets.
Social Activities
The Club hosts an extremely full social calendar. Members enjoy both casual fine dining and poolside dining on the sun terraces surrounding the heated Junior Olympic sized pool and jacuzzi. With more than 200 members, the Wine Club is the envy of many. In 2016 VGCC earned the Americas Healthiest Clubs certification and as such features a robust menu of fitness activities and racquet sports.
Club Membership
Home ownership requires a membership to the Club. Choose from either the Club or Golf categories. Non-resident Golf Memberships are also available and afford all the privileges of resident golf members. Not quite ready to be in Florida full time, you will want to learn about the Transition Golf membership.
Financial Stability
The Club is financially sound and committed to maintaining members’ highest standards for excellence and value. A CDD free community, there is a solid long-range plan that protects existing capital assets and provides for new capital expenditures to enhance the Club amenities.

The Club is a short drive from Sarasota, and convenient to Tampa to the north, and Ft. Myers and Naples to the south, but without the traffic found in those cities.
