Golf Memberships

Two Rivers Country Club has an array of Golf Memberships to meet your needs, whether you live in our community or simply enjoy visiting and playing our 18-hole, Tom Fazio designed, championship course. We have an excellent team of seasoned PGA professionals led by Chris Warring and offer golf lessons for beginners as well as avid golfers looking to sharpen their game. Our golf shop is fully stocked and demo days are held throughout the season. Two Rivers Country Club Golf Members have the freedom to practice on our well-maintained practice facilities and pristine greens and bunkers, consistently ranked within the top private golf courses in Virginia. Beyond the course, enjoy an endless amount of amenities including waterfront dining, tennis and pickleball courts, two seasonal pools, fitness center, sandy beach, and a full calendar of social events.

Full Golf Memberships

Full Members are granted unlimited use of our championship course and practice facility, seven-day advance tee time reservations, and access to our clubhouse restaurants, tennis and pickleball courts, two seasonal pools, fitness center, social events, and much more!

Associate Golf Memberships

Associate Members enjoy the same privileges as Full Golf Members with two exclusions, including three-day advance tee time reservations during the weekday, in addition to weekend and holiday access beginning at noon — unless a guest of a Full Golf Member.

National Golf Memberships

National Golf Members and their immediate family have access to 24 rounds of golf annually on our pristine 18-hole course, seven-day advance tee time reservations, and receive the same privileges to our club as other memberships — although National Members must live more than 50 miles from our club.

Social Membership

Enjoy dining privileges at the River Room, Osprey Bar & Grill and all other food and beverage outlets, a full calendar of social events and access to all club amenities including a limited number of paid golf rounds.

Marina Membership

Members have access to a full-service marina as well as all of the club amenities. The marina facility has 100 slips from 25 to 55 feet, a terrace area with tables and umbrellas, Harbor House with bathrooms, showers, a boat launch ramp and 15 jet boat-lifts.

Dining Membership

Enjoy outstanding formal, casual and seasonal outdoor dining overlooking sensational sunsets on the James River.

As a Two Rivers Country Club member, you also will have reciprocity privileges at other high caliber private clubs.

Our private country club offers numerous activities to cultivate your interests and provide opportunities to socialize. With enticing amenities like our deep-water marina, private beach, tennis and pickleball courts, pools, bocce courts, fitness center, and walking trails, there is something for every family member to enjoy at The Governor’s Land at Two Rivers.

Tennis & Pickleball

Set the clubs aside and swing the racquet, instead. The Governor’s Land at Two Rivers’ superb facilities include 6 Har-Tru clay courts and two hard courts as well as multiple pickleball courts. And if you’re looking to sharpen your game, our full-time tennis pro, Mike Prokopik, offers a wide variety of lessons, clinics, tournaments, summer camps, and drop-ins for men, women, and children. Members may also join the Tennis and Pickleball Associations.

Swimming

Our members enjoy the use of two six-lane, 25-meter outdoor seasonal pools, each featuring a wading pool for toddlers and water aerobics programs during the summer. Our community is home to the Governor’s Land Typhoons, a youth competitive swim team affiliated with the Virginia Peninsula Swimming Union (VPSU).

Private Beach

Our private beach is open year-round and is a popular place to enjoy stunning sunsets with your toes in the sand. During the warmer months, you’ll find families enjoying a swim in the James River, teens playing beach volleyball, and friends hosting summer cook-outs with built-in grills available.

Fitness Center

Break a sweat on our top-of-the-line treadmills, elliptical trainers, stationary and recumbent bikes, as well as a complete line of resistance and weight machines. Personal training and daily group classes are offered by certified instructors. The Governor’s Land at Two Rivers’ fully-equipped fitness center hums with activity from dawn to late evening so you can work out whenever motivation strikes and make a few new friends between reps.

Walking Trails

The Governor’s Land at Two Rivers has 10 miles of scenic walking trails that wind through our 200-acre Nature Preserve along the banks of the James River, as well as numerous paved walking paths throughout our private, member-owned community.

Kids Programs

Our community offers a busy schedule of activities for children of all ages. Whether your child or grandchild has a passion for basketball, soccer, tennis, or golf, they can play their hearts out on our beautifully maintained sporting grounds. We also host special activities and events offering the youth of our community plenty of opportunities to make new friends and socialize.

A James River Marina that’s a Boater’s Safe Haven

Nestled within a pristine stretch of unspoiled waterfront along the Chickahominy and James Rivers, and surrounded by our beautiful community, is The Governor’s Land at Two Rivers’ 100-slip protected deepwater private marina and Yacht Club in Williamsburg, Virginia. Our certified Virginia Clean Marina is conveniently located four miles west of Jamestown Island and accessed off the small craft channel (Daymark #6). In addition, our marina is 40 miles from both Richmond, Virginia and the Chesapeake Bay.

Enjoy warm days in the Virginia sun, floating along the freshwater Chickahominy River with a broad expanse of open marshes and multiple tributaries. If you’re fond of fishing in Virginia, The Governor’s Land at Two Rivers’ marina provides anglers with excellent tidal river fishing opportunities.

Two Rivers Yacht Club members are invited to participate in engaging social events throughout the year including Docktail parties, kayak outings and many more special events including annual speaker events and beach parties featuring live music.
