The Right Time to Ask THIS Revealing Private Club Question

When you’re considering membership in a golf club community…
“Why should I/we choose this club?” is one of the most revealing questions to ask the membership directors you meet.
But only if you ask it at the right time.
Ask it too early, and you may only get a generic rundown of the club’s amenities.
I recommend asking it later in the process — after you’ve done your initial research, on-site visits, and started narrowing things down to two to five clubs.
That’s because, at this point, the membership directors should be familiar with your background, personality, interests, etc., and should be able to easily answer why their club fits (or doesn’t fit) you the best.
Trust me, even if you don’t “name names,” a good membership director will likely know the other clubs in your consideration set, and they may actually suggest a better match.
Not every club is right for every person, and the nice thing is, both sides usually have the same goal in mind: the best long-term fit.
