Golf at The National Golf & Country Club
The National Golf & Country Club at Ave Maria showcases a newly opened 18-hole championship golf course designed by Gordon Lewis that offers fun challenges for all ages and skill levels.
The National currently offers five sets of playing tee boxes. For the advanced golfer, the course is a challenging 7,300 yards from the back tees, featuring one of the longest Par 5 holes in Collier Country at 701 yards. While the forward tees come in at just under 5,000 yards, water still comes into play on almost every hole meaning precise shots are still required to navigate this new and exciting course.
The many doglegs, some over water, combined with grass bunkers, undulating green complexes, and large fairway knolls make The National Golf & Country Club unique to other courses in the Southwest Florida region. These subtle nuances combined with many risk / reward scenarios off the tee puts together a great golf course that is a real treat to play and leaves the golfer wanting to return.

Our friendly pro shop staff will also help you check in before each round, schedule a tee time, book a golf lesson and provide you with the latest news at The National. TaylorMade rental clubs are also availalbe for rent for those without their own set of clubs.
Practice Facilities
The National at Ave Maria offers an expansive practice facility. Which includes a short game area, putting green, and driving range to fine tune your game before the round starts.
Racquet Sports at The National Golf & Country Club
The Racquet Sports Pro Shop at The National is a full-service Tennis and Pickleball Pro Shop. Stocked exclusively with the latest HEAD products, the staff is equipped and ready to fulfill all your racquet sports needs. Whether it’s selecting a racquet, finding the grip or paddle that fits for you, or simply which color shirt looks best, the Pro Shop staff is happy to assist and answer whatever questions you may have. In the Pro Shop you will find embroidered National merch, such as t-shirts, tanks, hats, tumblers, and tote bags. Besides merchandise, the Pro Shop is also where guests can sign-up for private lessons, clinics, and receive re-stringing services.
Throughout the year, the Racquet Sports Center will host a plethora of racquet sports events to encourage play and give players the opportunity to either hone their skills, try something new, or simply find new fellow players to play with. These may include holiday mixers, fundraisers, tournaments, round-robins, and more!
