The Forest is a private, member-owned and operated Club, located in a non bundled gated community offering resident and non resident memberships. Small enough to know everyone by name and big enough to provide a place and space for everyone to belong. Blending the legendary traditions of golf with modern, upscale conveniences, The Forest amenities are highlighted by its two award-winning championship courses. The Forest has been voted ‘Best Of Golf & Tennis’ by Gulfshore Life in 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022.

Golf Memberships (Unlimited Golf)

Family and Individual Golf Memberships are available and designed with your interests in mind! Full Family includes all members of the family with dependents up to the age of 21. Enjoy full access to all other amenities which compliment your desire to unlimited golf on 36 holes. Our Individual Membership includes one golfing member with spouse/family to enjoy unlimited access to all other non golfing amenities.

Executive Membership (Unlimited Golf)

Provides unlimited family golf and access to all amenities for those under the age of 54 (older of the two and includes children up to the age of 21). This is a great opportunity for younger individuals to enjoy all we have to offer and lock in at an unbelievable rate.

Sports Membership (Limited Golf)

Provides limited family golf privileges and access to all amenities including unlimited use of the practice facilities. This includes spouse and family members up to the age of 21.

Legendary Golf

The Forest is home to two Award Winning walkable courses named best of Gulfshore Life for three consecutive years, with two distinctly different courses keeping golfers of any skill level challenged. The Bear and Bobcat courses will test and enthuse you from the moment you tee off.

The Bobcat Course

Our Par 72 Bobcat Course is surrounded by lakes, preservation areas, beautiful oaks, and cypress trees, as well as big, gorgeous greens and lush fairways. Time after time, this course’s design, beauty, and immaculate condition present a new challenge. The Bobcat features Tif Eagle bermudagrass greens and Celebration bermudagrass fairways.

The Bear Course

The famed Bear Course exceeds the expectations of all who experience it. The Bear has been the host to over 5 United States Golf Association events, including U.S. Open Qualifier. It has also hosted over 16 Florida State Golf Association events, including the Florida Match Play Championship. Ranked by GOLFWEEK Magazine as one of Florida’s Top 25 Most Distinctive Courses, The Bear provides the ultimate golfing challenge. However, with five sets of tees, even junior players enjoy braving The Bear. The Bear features Tif Eagle bermudagrass greens and Tifway 419 bermudagrass fairways.

The Forest offers two walkable courses designed to deliver an experience and flow from one hole to another. Take a walk through The Forest where eagles soar above you, perfectly manicured tree-lined fairways are ahead of you, and miles of lakes and streams that all come together for you, delivering an experience worth every step.

Practice Facility

If you want to hone in on your game, our new premier practice facility allows our membership the ability to improve their entire game with an expanded practice tee, landing area, and increased short game area focusing in on shots from 60 yards in.

Clubhouse

Our contemporary-style Clubhouse serves as a stunning centerpiece. Featuring floor to ceiling windows affording sweeping panoramic views inviting the great outdoors inside complimenting the luxurious décor, waterfall wall, and furnishing to complete an upscale yet comfortable ambiance to our lounge areas, dining rooms, fitness center, and patio space.

Championship Tennis

Voted Best Of Tennis in Gulfshore Life for three consecutive years, The Forest Tennis offers everything you need to play your best game. Six Har-Tru Hydro clay courts with three lighted courts for nighttime play. A friendly yet competitive environment for all levels of tennis, offering a variety of activities and programs tailored for every player. Programs include weekly clinics, single and doubles play, private and group lessons, league play, junior programs, round robins, tournaments, and special events.

Meet our Director of Tennis, Fred Kangwa, a former member of the Davis Cup Team for Zambia, Africa. He has been the Head Tennis Professional at The Forest for over 22 years.

Pickleball

Pickleball provides our members with an additional racquet sport perfect for all ages and experience levels. Pickleball is a paddle sport that combines tennis, badminton, and ping-pong using a paddle and a wiffle ball. The rules are simple, and the game is fun, making it a great introductory sport! Pickleball can also be quite challenging, fast-paced, and competitive once players become more experienced at playing. Members enjoy participating in the weekly social morning open play, which is geared for all levels.

Bocce

Let the good times roll with Bocce at The Forest Country Club! Join the fun with our 300+ member league play on two lighted Bocce courts located outdoors next to the Gumbo Limbo Outdoor Bar. Whether you are looking for team competition, camaraderie, or playing for fun, Bocce at The Forest delivers.

ALL games are playable with a drink in hand!

Fitness

Our State of the art Fitness Center provides members access to a beautiful, clean, and safe fitness environment overlooking the nature preserve seven days a week. We offer a variety of group fitness classes including, yoga, pilates, barre, strength, balance and more! Our passionate and certified professionals are here to support you in your fitness goals with expert knowledge and encouragement every step of the way.

Dining at The Forest Country Club

A Friendly and Inviting Atmosphere

The Forest Country Club provides a friendly and inviting atmosphere for members and their guests. Members can often been seen enjoying their favorite cocktail, or some of the culinary creations of Chef Drew Tait, and his talented team. The Cypress Grill Room offers a sit down relaxed atmosphere with various styles of cuisine and theme nights for both lunch and dinner. Members can be seen participating in Trivia Night, a Prime Rib Buffet, or watching their favorite sporting team in the attached bar. Soak up the sun and enjoy the outdoors on our covered terrace, or sit and sip at our newly added Gumbo Limbo Outdoor Tiki Bar featuring a variety of tropical beverages and fire pits for those cooler evenings. Our Dining Rooms are equipped to host extravagant member functions for up to 300 to keep members and their guests dancing the night away. A variety of social events and member tournaments are a great place to witness the camaraderie that has given The Forest its warm and welcoming reputation.
