Membership at Creighton Farms
As a Southworth club, Creighton Farms is committed to offering its members truly personal service. Our team goes above and beyond every day, and it shows in the relationships they enjoy with our club members. The club offers several different types of memberships, which allow members to enjoy the club and its facilities in a way that best suits their personal needs and preferences, with some memberships including reciprocal privileges at Southworth sister clubs across the U.S. and The Bahamas.
FULL GOLF MEMBERSHIP
This is a full-family membership that offers access to all amenities and activities at The Club at Creighton Farms, and allows the member to bring guests, subject to applicable charges.
- Full access to the golf course, practice facilities, clubhouse, fitness, pool, tennis, and social activities
- Includes spouse and children under 23 who live at home, are at school, or in the active military
- Locker, bag storage, and GHIN handicap
CORPORATE GOLF MEMBERSHIP
Offers four full golf memberships with the same privileges as a Full Golf member for each of the designees and their families. Initiation fee is non-refundable. Member designations are re-assignable each January.

NATIONAL GOLF MEMBERSHIP
Offered to candidates living more than 40 miles from the club. This membership allows limited play annually, but permits access to all of the club’s facilities and participation in all of the club’s organized social activities and events.
- Available to candidates living more than 40 miles from the Club
- Full access to the practice facilities, clubhouse, fitness, pool, tennis and social activities
- Golf course access on a limited basis
- Includes spouse and children under 23 who live at home, are at school, or in the active military
- Bag storage and GHIN handicap
SPORTS MEMBERSHIP
Sports members are entitled to use of all the sports facilities at the club, including the fitness center, tennis courts, pool facilities, dining facilities, club room accommodations for overnight guests, as well as limited golf privileges. Sports members may also participate in all club social activities and events.
- Full access to pool, fitness, tennis, dining, clubhouse, and social activities
- Golf course access on a limited basis
- Use of the golf practice facilities on the days when playing golf
- Access to designated club golf events based upon availability

SOCIAL MEMBERSHIP
Social members are entitled to avail themselves of the club’s dining facilities and club room accommodations for overnight guests, and may participate in all club social events and activities. Initiation fee is non-refundable.

Golf at Creighton Farms
The crowning feature of the club at Creighton Farms is the 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, which has been recognized as one of the premier courses on the Eastern Seaboard. Annually home to the Creighton Farms Invitational Hosted by Jack Nicklaus, it’s one of the D.C. area’s most coveted tee times.
In addition to the course itself, the club offers extensive practice facilities in the form of a double-ended practice range, a dedicated short-game practice area, practice putting greens, and The Stable, our state-of-the-art teaching and golf learning center. The Stable features Trackman Simulation software, three indoor/outdoor all-season hitting bays, indoor putting, club fitting studio, SportsBoxAI, and more.
Members enjoy a full calendar of tournaments, along with excellent instructional opportunities led by PGA Teaching Professional Erika Larkin. Golf Digest ranked Erika in their Top 50 Teachers in America (#44) in 2023, and they’ve recognized her as the #1 in Virginia for ten years running. In 2023, she was also named a Top 100 Teacher by Golf.com.

EVENTS
One of the hallmarks of the Creighton Farms experience is the extensive calendar of community events for members and their families. These fun social events bring the entire Creighton Farms community together to enjoy a wide range of fun activities, including sporting competitions on the golf course and tennis courts, holiday parties, wine and whiskey tastings, themed dining events, and what may be the most impressive private Fourth of July party and fireworks presentation in the nation.

FITNESS
Fitness and wellness are increasingly recognized as key components of a life well lived, and at Creighton Farms you’ll find facilities thoughtfully designed to help you achieve both. The club features a spacious fitness center adjacent to the clubhouse in which a wide range of cardio and strength-training equipment can be found. There is also an upstairs wellness studio used for a variety of yoga practices. Spa services such as massages, facials, and skin care treatments are also available to club members.
RACQUET SPORTS
Director of Racquet Sports, Rick Etchells, has embarked on the journey of building a tennis family, not just a tennis program. A safe haven for our members to relax and enjoy the game they love. Creighton Farms offers the backdrop for wonderful experiences and memories to be made on the courts. Whether you are competitive, social, or somewhere in between, our Racquet Sports offerings are for everyone.
Creighton Farms’ Har-Tru and Laykold Master Series Float cushioned hard tennis courts, along with our 3 new pickleball courts, play host to a full slate of events, even beyond instruction, casual member, and family play. Rick Etchells is an experienced coach of all levels, from beginners to Tour professionals, and oversees a vibrant and extensive racquet sports program for juniors and adults alike! Creighton Farms offers a full calendar of tennis and pickleball events.
POOL
A junior Olympic-size pool, a family pool, a spa pool, and a kid’s splash zone—together they add up to a whole lot of fun when the warmer weather comes to Creighton Farms. A lunch menu, snacks, and cold beverages are available.
KIDS’ ACTIVITIES
No matter what ages your children (or grandchildren) may be, they’ll find a world of fun and personal enrichment at Creighton Farms. Among other kid-focused events, the club offers summer and spring break camps, movie nights, Easter egg hunts, s’mores roasts by the outdoor firepit, art workshops, fishing adventures, kids’ fitness programs, game nights, and much more.
