Our recently renovated state-of-the-art practice facility includes a 40,000 sq. ft. practice tee, an adjacent fairway bunker, 5 target greens, 2 large putting greens totaling over 18,000 sq. ft., and a separate short game area with 3 bunkers, a short fairway and a 3,000 sq. ft. green.
Private and group instruction and tournament coordination are also available from our PGA professionals. Seabrook Island is a certified member of the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program for golf courses. Seabrook Island was the first golf facility to receive this recognition in the state of South Carolina and 75th in the U.S.
The Seabrook Island Club has grown to more than 1,900 members since opening in July of 1991. The club’s facilities have also grown along with the membership base and are now among the Lowcountry’s finest.
Club members enjoy all of the resort-like amenities at Seabrook Island including two challenging golf courses, tennis, an equestrian center, fitness center, swimming pools and exceptional dining. A full calendar of organized sporting and social events are also available to members throughout the year.

Seabrook Island lays claim to one of the longest and most dynamic expanses of beach shoreline in the coastal Carolinas. There are nearly four miles of pristine and peaceful sandy locales to explore. Beach access is enhanced with nine boardwalks that link the attractive beach housing with the inviting beach and ocean waters.
The SIPOA Lake House is a fitness and wellness facility providing Seabrook Island property owners and their guests with everything they need to stay happy and healthy with a variety of exercise classes, equipment, swimming and social groups in a 27,500 sq. ft. facility.
The Lake House boasts a 5-lane, 25-yard indoor fitness pool that is temperature regulated year-round. There is also a zero entry outdoor activity pool that provides a water-play area for children, five swimming lanes and plenty of deck space to relax and enjoy the sun.
The fitness space includes a cardio area with a variety of options including treadmills, adaptive motion trainers, recumbent bikes, spinning bikes and rowing machines. There is also a weight training area which includes free weights, cable machines and weight machines to target every major muscle group in the body. The Lake House also has a wide variety of group fitness classes (including pilates, aerobics and yoga), as well as personal trainers to assist you in any fitness goal you may have, plus aqua aerobics for those seeking a low impact workout.
In addition to its fitness offerings, the Lake House is home to a wide variety of social and special interest groups, including art and photography groups, bridge groups, book clubs and more.
The Seabrook Island Racquet Club features state-of-the-art facilities, top-quality court conditions and a balance of year-round social, instructional and competitive options for all levels of tennis enthusiasts.
Our full-service Equestrian Center features one of the few beach rides on the East Coast and caters to riders of all skill levels with guided trail rides, pony rides and riding lessons.
The club’s Equestrian Center at Seabrook Island helps define the unique lifestyle enjoyed by island residents. The center features spacious pastures, three miles of trails and modern facilities that include 42 stalls—perfect for short- or long-term boarding—for both residents as well as non-residents.
