I became a licensed real estate agent after relocating from Muirfield Village in Dublin, Ohio in 1993. I am now licensed in Florida, North Carolina, and South Carolina with emphasis on the Upstate South Carolina market (Greenville/Spartanburg).
As a Golf Certified Agent with Golf Life Navigators, every real estate transaction I handle is treated as a unique situation, which is why every one of my clients feel like they are my only client during the process. I may handle several purchases each year but to me each one is a new and exciting opportunity to help new friends find the perfect home and lifestyle in an ideal community.
Professional Real Estate Service since 1993.
How long have you been selling real estate in golf markets like Naples, Florida and Greenville, South Carolina?
28 years in Naples and 10 years in the Carolinas.
Do you believe that for real estate agents to be successful in golf sales they need to play the game regularly?
I think it is very important that a real estate agent plays the game to be successful in selling golf communities.
What is one thing that you feel is important for any real estate agent to know when working with a golf centric buyer?
I think having the knowledge to match a buyer’s skill level to the right kind of course is very important. Also, knowing the tee time policies of clubs to ensure a buyer can play as often as they desire.
How have you used your “Golf Certification” logo and branding to your advantage in 2021?
I use the “Golf Certification” logo in my email signatures and websites.
Do you believe that when clubs invest into their amenities it positively affects the market value of homes in or near the community? If so, how do you articulate that to buyers?
I believe real estate values are directly related to the quality of a club’s amenities.
