November in Southwest Florida doesn’t get much better. There are fewer crowds and plenty of foodie events, festivals, and fun golf happenings to go around! With an average high of 83 degrees and average low of 62 degrees, the weather is spectacular for enjoying all that our gulf coast and golf courses have to offer!
Now in its 34th year, Taste of the Town is the signature fundraiser of the Junior League of Fort Myers. Top Southwest Florida restaurants serve 2 to 4 different “tastes” of their best dishes and live entertainment will be rocking throughout the day!
Yes, that’s right, a festival dedicated to all things BACON! But there’s more, all money raised goes to feeding the children of Collier County. This year, guests who purchase tickets online to the 3rd Annual Johnsonville Sausage BaconFest can choose which charity they would like to receive a donation: St. Matthew’s House, Blessings in a Backpack or Pan-Florida Challenge for Hungry Kids. So between bingeing on bacon and benefiting great causes, rest assured it will be a porkin’ good time!
Don’t miss this classy festival on Naples’ famous Fifth Avenue South! On this special night, the whole street is closed to vehicles and guests will enjoy six blocks of entertainment, food, wine and craft beers. All proceeds go to the Rotary Club of Naples Charitable Foundation which supports a number of projects and programs throughout Collier County.
Okay all this talk about food festivals is making me full, let’s get to the golf! Watch the top female golfers tee it up in the LPGA’s season ending event at Tiburón Golf Club at The Ritz Carlton!
Yes we are pretty much surrounded by palm trees and sunny skies, but that doesn’t mean we aren’t looking for the perfect way to usher in the holidays in Southwest Florida! The annual lighting of the official Naples Christmas Tree is a not-to-miss event that marks the start of the holiday season. Bring the whole family for this festive and fun evening up and down Third Street South that includes FALLING SNOW and live music in beautiful Olde Naples.
