Eight sets of tees make everyone happy, and the course is even rated for youngsters by U.S. Kids. A beautifully stocked pro shop provides everything needed for your golf experience. Plus, you can hone your game at the Lost Chimneys Learning & Performance Center that features a complete practice range as well as heated and cooled hitting bays, training simulator, fitting center and instruction for all ages from PGA professionals.

If you’re a pilot, Mountain Air is the ideal getaway, featuring the highest private runway east of the Mississippi. Depending on the type of aircraft, most locations in the eastern United States are no more than three hours away. This convenience provides flexible work and travel opportunities.
At an elevation of 4,600 feet, the paved runway measures 2,875 feet and landing here is considered a special treat by pilots and their families. Once on the ground, you’re just steps from the club and a short jaunt from home.
The centerpiece of the club is the Village Green with an award-winning clubhouse that serves as the central gathering spot for farm-to-table dining and special events in a club-casual atmosphere.
The Mountain Market stocks the necessities while its deli offers all-day service.
A favorite spot to meet, eat and drink is Orville & Wilbur’s, the open-air bar and grill.
And guests take advantage of the hospitality at Falling Leaf Lodge with its spacious suites, while Chautauqua has a movie theater, teen room and children’s activity center offering a multitude of special programs.
A balanced lifestyle contributes to happiness, and wellness programs are abundant here. The heated pool is the perfect place to lounge and splash with the kids, while the fully equipped fitness center is staffed with specialists and personal trainers who lend support and lead a variety of classes, from water aerobics to yoga.

Nature surrounds you at Mountain Air, and our Outdoor Discovery Center and its staff help residents experience and appreciate the natural splendor. Under the direction of a full-time naturalist, a wide-ranging series of programs entice children and adults with guided hikes on the Mountain’s two trail systems, bird watching, animal spotting and tracking, and stargazing on the runway. The staff also organizes and leads outings for whitewater rafting, canoeing and kayaking, hiking, zip lining, rock climbing, fishing and almost any other type of outdoor adventure.
