About Jim

Jim is a Founding Partner of Golf Life Navigators. In 2014, Jim’s son Ryan, Director of Golf and Head Pro at Columbus (OH) CC, asked him if he would like to invest in a company his former classmate, Jason Becker, at FGCU was forming. Jim and his wife Phyllis did and the rest is history.

Jim is a retired Pharmacist (37yrs), having owned and operated five Pharmacies in NE Ohio. “My day to day interaction with the public has allowed me to develop the ability to communicate, understand and be of service to most anyone. Also, having owned and operated several Pharmacies, I am well aware that Customer Service is the key to establishing and maintaining clientele. It’s what set us apart from the competing Chain Drug Stores.”

Jim and his wife Phyllis own homes in both Estero, FL and on Hilton Head Island. Jim was GLN’s first Golf Certified Agent. He is associated with Local Real Estate LLC in SWFL and is the only Golf Certified Agent in the HHI, Bluffton, and Beaufort market where he is associated with Engel-Volkers of HHI.

Jim has a great working relationship with forty-two Membership Directors in SWFL and eighteen in the HHI/Bluffton/Beaufort areas. “I have worked hard to establish a meaningful, trusting relationship with the Membership Directors in both markets. It really pays off when I take my clients to meet with them.”
