The Central Florida Golf Life Navigators team, based in Orlando and headed up by lead Navigator Joe Logan, has had a very busy and active first half of the year. Together with Greg Christovich and Brian Stewart on the Real Estate side, and with the assistance of CEO Jason Becker, the team has been on more than a dozen Club Affiliate visits since January. We now have solid relationships with the management and marketing teams at some of the finest clubs in the central and northern half of the state from Tampa to Palm Coast and everywhere in between, including such icons as Black Diamond Ranch in Lecanto, Lake Nona Country Club in Orlando, and Hammock Dunes in Palm Coast. We are also being taken note of by the large golf resort industry in the region, in particularly Reunion Resort and Mission Inn Resort. Locations like these provide great opportunities for second home buyers and seasonal memberships.
Several clients who are actively looking in Central Florida have made trips through the region and came away thrilled with the guidance we provided them. We’ve noticed that trends show that GLN clients looking in Central Florida are often looking for golf communities in non-crowded areas. While South Florida and communities like The Villages appeal to many clients, they are clearly not the lifestyle of choice for all persons relocating to Florida. With Brian Stewart on the ground on the real estate side, we are well prepared to show our clients some of the best homes in some of the finest communities in the area when they arrive, and mix in a little golf along the way. Brian is a long-time PGA Professional and has been in the Orlando market for 30-plus years.

Hammock Dunes Country Club – Hammock Dunes is a Private Oceanfront Golf Community nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the palm-lined shores of the Intracoastal Waterway. This 997 acre upscale oceanfront development has approximately 1½ miles of beachfront property and includes a 2½ mile long island in the Intracoastal Waterway. There are a variety of ownership opportunities from homes overlooking the ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway as well as views of the Lakes and the Golf Course.
In addition to building relationships with the clubs and resorts in the region, we’ve also continued our partner relationship with the North Florida PGA Section. As such, we are in the process of hosting an event to bring together all of the PGA golf professionals in the area for a fun outing and a presentation about the GLN and GLP services and our progress thus far.
Finally, Jeff Rude, long-time Golfweek writer and host of the ‘Hate to be Rude’ interview series, has been helping us spread the GLN message throughout his network of fellow writers around the country. Jeff lives in Orlando and plays much of his golf at the famed Orange Tree Country Club, which has been a favorite stop of a number of tour players through the years.
