Desert Hills is an equity based, member owned club managed by an elected, in-house board of directors. We are financially strong. Not owned or managed by an outside corporation, we are uniquely positioned to control our future interests while maintaining our primary focus: providing an environment that is warm, social and golf friendly.
Tee times are not available to the public – our golf course is reserved for members, family and guests. This exclusivity allows Desert Hills Golf Club to maintain one of the best-conditioned courses in Southern Arizona. With stunning views of the Santa Rita Mountains, our course is walker friendly and designed for all levels of play.
Desert Hills Golf Club is a golfer’s club, with tee time accessibility via ForeTees and we are resolute on a four hour or less pace of play. We have groups for avid and/or social individuals and couples. Our club offers a genuine and welcoming culture from our staff and membership. We enjoy an expansive, comfortable lounge with a well-appointed bar and economical prices for drinks, sandwiches and snacks. Full range practice facilities are on site including chipping and putting. Private golf lessons are available from our PGA professionals.

Desert Hills is a private golf club. As a nonprofit, Desert Hills is member owned and operated by an elected member board of directors for the social and recreational benefit of our members and their guests. We are financially stable and a debt free club; our reserve fund continues to grow.
As a golf club, the primary interest of our members is maintaining our golf course at the quality level expected by our membership. We have a CAP of 410 playing members to assure membership expectations of 4 hour or less rounds and ease of obtaining tee times. We sport a wide range member handicaps, so players at all levels can find compatible groups to play with. We are very walker friendly and whether you are looking for competitive or social golf Desert Hills can meet your needs.

- There is no restaurant, and therefore no minimum spending. However, we have a very comfortable lounge where limited sandwiches and snacks are available at the bar.

For a golfer, there is no better experience than a fabulous golf course in a spectacular setting. Desert Hills, a David Bennet design, offers panoramic views of the majestic Santa Rita Mountains and beautiful Madera Canyon. Tree-lined fairways provide ample shade from the desert sun for walkers and riders. The course has four choices of tees enabling golfers of all skill levels to equally enjoy the course.

Course History
Fairfield Green Valley, Inc. built and launched Desert Hills Golf Club in January 1979. The club was initially opened to the public but due to significant popularity, mostly from local residents, pace of play delays and restricted tee times resulted. In 1982, the club was gradually purchased by its members over a two year period. Since 1984 our golf club has been wholly member owned and operated.
