Welcome to Crownwood Club
Crownwood Club is the vision of professional golfer Henrik Stenson, golf entrepreneur and investor Arild Karlsen and golf course architect Christian Lundin. Their vision is to create a new kind of club in midst of the best possible terrain in southern Sweden.
This club will not only be home to a 18-hole members golf course, an 11-hole public course and state of the art practice facilities where the practice range is carefully carved out of the natural pine forest.
The seaside property will also include a clubhouse with a restaurant that will serve golfers as well as the locals. A gym and relax facility to give the members a chance to refresh and revitalize. In addition to this there will be a co-working facility and accommodation.
We have through the creation of Vegeholms Ljungar, a brand-new real estate development in the south of Ängelholm, made this investment possible. We are bringing more than 600 homes to this part of the city, close to the beautiful beaches, ice hockey arena which is home to Rögle BK, European champions in 2022, and all other sports facilities the city offers.
Crownwood Club will be a one of a kind facility in Scandinavia, the only Golf Environmental Organisation certified golf course construction in Scandinavia to date, where members are in the heart of our mind. Its not a golf club. It’s a social club where members are treated like family and guests like members.

Fuelled by the ambition of competing against the best, he has enjoyed a remarkable career collecting 35 disability titles: including Swedish Champion, European Champion, European Teams Champion and World Teams Champion along with an impressive 4 straight Italian Opens.
Born with Achondroplasia (commonly known as short stature) Joakim’s values of perseverance, compassion, optimism and unity are key factors to his success and what drives him to become better, inspiring a life both on and off the golf course.
Joakim possesses a strong enthusiasm that resonates across the globe. His passion for driving change and promoting inclusivity within golf has enabled him to become a powerful ambassador for those wanting to improve each day and for golfers with a disability.
A past winner of the Henrik Stenson Scholarship, Joakim is proud to be associated with Crownwood Club.
Torbjörn Svensson
Torbjörn Svensson, a resident of Rydebäck, took up golf in 2021 after discovering the sport by chance at a try-out event organized by the Swedish National Association of the Visually Impaired (Synskadades Riksförbund Skåne).
Torbjörn is deafblind and runs adventure projects, including the Deafblind Challenge, in which he takes on challenges that have never been attempted by people with deafblindness before. For example, in 2022, he played 18 golf courses in 18 days from Stockholm to Malmö.
The aim of the adventures is to spread knowledge about what it is like to live with this disability and to try to influence the fulfillment of rights and equality – regardless of the challenge. And not least to show that with the right support and help, nothing is impossible!
His home club is Mölle GK and his ambassadorship for Crownwood is an honorable and very inspiring mission to carry out.
