Creighton Farms is a sophisticated sanctuary of just 184 homes, overlooking one of the premier golf courses on the Eastern Seaboard. Here, we’ve created a private, gated community offering unparalleled amenities, along with the acclaimed service of Southworth Development, a leader in golf community development worldwide. As a resident or as a club member, you and your family will benefit from every aspect of the Creighton Farms lifestyle, including access to and benefits at other Southworth communities in The Bahamas, Cape Cod, Scotland, and on Boston’s North Shore.
Creighton Farms is nestled in the scenic Piedmont region of Northern Virginia, where significant portions of the early American story unfolded. Featuring an award-winning Jack Nicklaus Signature Course, this extraordinary club community is located 50 minutes from downtown Washington D.C. and just 20 minutes from Dulles Airport. What’s more, nearby Leesburg and Middleburg are minutes away and offer delightfully distinctive lodging, dining, art galleries, and boutiques.
What separates a good private club from an extraordinary one? The club’s facilities certainly do – its golf course, clubhouse, sports and recreation center, and other world-class amenities. At The Club at Creighton Farms, the amenities members enjoy are second to none. From the award-winning Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course to our 34,000-square-foot clubhouse facility, what members and their guests find here is truly extraordinary.
But Membership at Creighton Farms is about more than its facilities. It’s a community of engaged members enjoying extraordinary experiences, making friends, and creating lifelong memories with the people they care about.
The crowning feature of The Club at Creighton Farms is the Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course. Opened in 2007, the course is recognized as one of the premier golf courses on the Eastern Seaboard and has been celebrated by the likes of Golf Digest, Golf Magazine, Golfweek, and Travel + Leisure Golf.
Incorporated into the course design are appealing water features and a small, but richly foliaged, creek. The course has received the distinction of Audubon International certification and designation for demonstrating that it is maintaining the highest degree of environmental quality and preservation. The layout challenges members with its variety, focusing on strategic thinking and precision rather than power, creating a memorable experience whatever the skill level. Previously, Creighton Farms has played host to the Senior PGA Professional National Championship, the Virginia State Amateur, and the annual Creighton Farms Invitational Hosted by Jack Nicklaus.
Designed with a nod to the classic American Vernacular-style of architecture, the warm and welcoming Clubhouse at Creighton Farms conjures thoughts of Gatsby, jitterbugging, and kinder and gentler days gone by. For club members and their guests, The Clubhouse at Creighton Farms provides a setting of refined yet relaxed elegance from which they may enjoy an array of amenities befitting one of the nation’s finest golf clubs.
The tri-level Clubhouse’s main floor features Jack’s Pub (dedicated to the accomplishments of Jack Nicklaus), a Grille Room capable of seating up to 80 people, a Private Dining Room for intimate dinners or meetings, a fully-stocked Golf Shop, a library, and a veranda overlooking the 1st tee and 18th green. Downstairs, member facilities include Men’s and Women’s Locker Rooms and Lounges, four Massage Rooms, along with a yoga and barre studio. And on the upper level, nine beautifully appointed Club Rooms (and one plush suite) with spectacular vista views of the golf course provide members and their guests with overnight accommodations that are second to none. Other Club amenities include the Clubhouse pool facility, 4 tennis courts, and a separate state-of-the-art fitness center.
There are few experiences Creighton Farms members find as calming as sitting on the Clubhouse Veranda on a warm evening and watching the sun set over the Virginia countryside.
Creighton Farms offers a wide variety of amenities for residents and members, from the award-winning Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course to the welcoming Clubhouse, to pool facilities the whole family will love. Creighton Farms is designed to be a sanctuary for our residents, members, and their families, so we want to make sure you have everything you need.
