Members enjoy access to our 27 holes of championship proven golf, 13 Har-Tru tennis courts, a well-equipped Fitness Center with heated lap pool, a spectacular oceanfront Beach Club with an adult lounging pool, resort-style Family pool, Oasis deck, covered Pavilion, oceanfront dining decks, and restaurants. All amenities are within walking distance in a private, gated community.

The area enjoys a sub-tropical-but-temperate four-seasons climate. While protected from over development and congestion, the Club is a 30 minutes easy drive to downtown Jacksonville, a few more minutes to Jacksonville International Airport, and an equally short run south to St. Augustine. We are also about a 2.5-hour drive to Orlando and Disney World. The Mayo Clinic is also just a short 20-minute drive from the Club.

Our members include a stimulating mix of current as well as retired high-level corporate executives, doctors, military and government officials, consultants, educators, and entrepreneurs. The social climate is relaxed and low key, with 25% of our members under the age of 55. Overall, there’s a delightful and refreshing absence of posturing and, as you gain new friends, you may only learn of their notable accomplishments from others.

In recent years, Ponte Vedra Beach area has experienced a surge in families relocating to the area to take advantage of the excellent school systems. In response, the Club has created an exciting array of family-friendly offerings including family-friendly dining options at the Beach Club, child care while using the facilities, kids night out on the weekends, after school and summer camp recreational programs, swim team and family fun nights at the Beach Club.

The Sawgrass Country Club residential community offers a delightful variety of home styles ranging from villas, patio homes and oceanfront properties in a wide range of prices. While there are villas and luxury homes available for sale within our gates, you don’t have to live here to be a member. In fact, 32% of our members live in Ponte Vedra Beach and surrounding communities just beyond our gates, and 20% have their second (or primary) home in other areas of the country.
