Full Golf Membership
- Unlimited access to the Dye championship golf course and expansive golf practice facility, along with participation in club league play.
- Access to the fitness center, including participation in all classes and activities.
- Access to the pool and participation in club aquatics activities.
- Access to all dining amenities, club activities and social events.
- Access to all members-only golf and social events throughout the year.
Young Professional Membership
- Available To Ages 21 to 39
- Unlimited access to the Dye championship golf course and expansive golf practice facility, along with participation in club league play.
- Access to the fitness center, including participation in all classes and activities.
- Access to the pool and participation in club aquatics activities.
- Access to all dining amenities, club activities and social events.
- Access to all members-only golf and social events throughout the year.
Sports Membership
- Access to the tennis facilities.
- Access to the club’s dining facilities.
- Access to the pool complex, including participation in aquatics events and activities.
- Unlimited golf access and expansive golf practice from May–September with payment of cart fees.
- Members may play golf 1 time per month, October through April with payment of cart fees.
- Participation in members-only events.
Social Membership
- Access to all clubhouse dining facilities.
- Participation in all social events, including members-only mixers, holiday parties and other food and beverage activities.
- Opportunity to host events at the club at member pricing.
Golf at Ancala Country Club
Ancala Country Club’s spectacular 6,815-yard, par-72 championship golf course was designed by Perry Dye – the son of the iconic Pete Dye and part of the prestigious Dye Designs group – in the shadows of Scottsdale’s majestic McDowell Mountains.
Indigenous trees and rugged desert terrain frame emerald fairways and manicured greens, with desert ravines and several lakes and other picturesque water features adding to the stunning beauty and strategic diversity of this target-style layout.
While challenging for scratch golfers, the course features five sets of tees on each hole, enabling golfers of all ages and abilities an opportunity to enjoy the course’s imaginative design and playability.
Ancala Country Club is as known for its immaculate conditioning as it is for its environmentally-friendly agronomic practices. In recognition for the club’s efforts to protect wildlife habitats, preserve the environment and conserve natural resources, Ancala has been certified by Audubon International as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary System – a global designation signifying excellence in environmental stewardship. Personal Training
Our individualized Personal Training Programs are custom-tailored specifically to YOU! Depending on your needs, they can include strength training, cardio, mobility exercises, and/or nutrition. Here are some benefits you could see from working with a personal trainer:

Soft Tissue Recovery Sessions
This effective form of recovery helps prevent injuries, recover quicker, optimize movement patterns, and enhance performance. Your professionals will use a percussive therapy tool (massage gun) to soothe sore muscles, increase blood flow, and overall make you feel better. This hands-on approach is scientifically proven to improve the quality of soft tissues such as skin, muscles, fascia, tendons, and ligaments. A personal, at-home recovery plan is also included.
Functional Integrated Training (FIT)
Functional training focuses on movements that provide you with the strength, stability, and mobility you need to thrive in your life and sports. FIT uses basic functional movement patterns like pushing, pulling, hinging, squatting, rotating, carrying, and gait patterns.
Mobility & Strength
Increase your body’s range of motion, including flexibility, balance, pliability, and strength. If you want to run faster, drive the golf ball further, get quicker on the tennis court, or just want to live more efficiently and pain-free, mobility training is key!
Group Fitness Classes (included in your membership)
AQUA AEROBICS:
This class is medium to high intensity, but low impact to protect your joints. Perfect for those who are just starting back to fitness as well as those who need a new challenge? Cardiovascular conditioning, muscular endurance and strength are emphasized. No swimming ability required. All fitness levels welcome!
AQUA ZUMBA:
Work aerobic endurance, muscular resistance, flexibility and joint mobility all at the same time while incorporating the dance rhythms & flair that make Aqua Zumba so much fun!
YOGA:
All ages and abilities will enjoy this chance to wind down and refocus priorities while increasing flexibility and strength. Beginners welcome!
RESTORE YOGA:
A class that focuses on creating space in your body through deep stretching and holding of poses. We use props such as blocks, bolsters, and straps to provide the opportunity to improve flexibility. The perfect class after golf or tennis! Everyone is invited to attend.
TOTAL BODY:
A total body workout routine concentrates on strengthening, toning & tightening your entire body with the use of a fitness ball, weights, & balance training. This class is designed for all levels!
PILATES:
Pilates is excellent for gaining core strength, and this beginner class is the perfect way to start building a stronger midsection that will be less prone to injury. Having a strong core can protect the back from injuries and ailments such as sprains, stiffness, and even bouts of sciatica. Pilates targets the upper abdominals, lower abdominals, obliques, back, as well as toning the glues and thighs. All fitness levels are welcome!
BARRE:
Barre is a combination of ballet, strength, yoga, and Pilates, with a focus on core, glute balance, and strength training. The class is taught at the barre with weights and additional floor work. All levels are welcome.
HIIT:
High-intensity interval training (HIIT) workouts are a popular kind of exercise that involves exerting your maximum energy during short periods of time. HIIT workouts require bursts of high-intensity strength and cardio exercises followed by brief periods of recovery. Your instructor will have your heart rate up while you move through a variety of different movements at your own pace. Increase your stamina and burn calories during this intense but fun workout with exercises that can be both high or low impact depending on your level.
Tennis at Ancala Country Club
Ancala Country Club’s lighted hard-surface tennis courts offer a beautiful venue for league play, tournaments, and the club’s ongoing series of tennis clinics, lessons and junior programs. If tennis is your racquet, then Ancala is the place for you!
Our tennis instructional program is led by Head Tennis Professional Scott Wightman, who began his love for tennis at the young age of five. As a ranked junior, he spent six years at The Bollettieri Tennis Academy, three years at Harry Hopman’s Tennis Academy, and still plays competitively on the 40 and over circuit. A certified member of the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA), Scott has honed his teaching skills at a number of top facilities, including Scottsdale Ranch Park. He also spent the last three years building Wightman Tennis in the Scottsdale area. He offers private, semi-private and group lessons, programs for competitive juniors and adults, and cardio tennis classes. Scott uses hands-on instruction, video analysis and conditioning to help each student achieve their individualized playing goals and objectives.

Ancala Country Club was designed with spectacular events in mind. From intimate bridal luncheons and baby showers to lavish wedding receptions, tournament banquets and fundraising galas, the club offers a variety of elegantly appointed indoor banquet and meeting rooms as well as picturesque outdoor spaces accommodating events of all sizes and types. Complementing the club’s array of upscale amenities is an experienced team of friendly event management and catering specialists, available on-site to assist with every detail.
The Overlook Kitchen & Bar serves as an exciting focal point for member dining, entertainment, and socializing, offering a delicious menu prepared fresh daily on-site by the club’s executive chef and a year-round schedule of unique culinary and seasonal events for members of all ages – including wine dinners, theme nights, holiday parties, club mixers and family events.
