Welcome to Clear Creek Tahoe

Welcome to Clear Creek Tahoe
TAHOE’S MOST EXCITING MOUNTAIN COMMUNITY – CLEAR CREEK TAHOE – A NATURAL WONDER
Clear Creek is on the eastern slope of the Carson Range, conveniently just about 20 minutes from both Incline Village and the ski slopes of Heavenly. Yet it is spectacularly unspoiled – 2,136 acres surrounded by the six million acres of the largest national forest in the lower 48. Your home will be a natural refuge … forever. Clear Creek is also reassuringly private – a private community and club since inception.

Golf at Clear Creek Tahoe
Bandon Trails. Streamsong. Sand Hills. Friar’s Head. Old Sandwich. This Coore & Crenshaw golf course design is the landmark work of designers with a passion for history and tradition. And the architects of what may be Tahoe’s crowning golf experience. We wanted pure golf, legendary golf, and so we started with golf purists who are the designers of America’s legendary new courses.
Deception. Conundrum. Reflection. Contemplation. Temptation. Five of eighteen holes that are each absolutely unique, yet as a whole foretell an experience unlike any mountain course in America. To read about how each was crafted, literally by hand, is one thing. To call this course your own is something very special indeed.
Lifestyle at Clear Creek Tahoe
Summer Lifestyle
We can go on and on about the wonder of summers on the water. Launching from the dock at Twin Pines Lake & Ski House or from Sand Harbor for a sunrise ski, kayaking the rocky coves along the eastern shore, beach and bar hopping in the afternoon, an early evening sail, or, best of all, fireworks on the 4th from your boat or our pier. You can spend every day on the lake and every one would be perfect.
SAND BETWEEN YOUR TOES
The 180’ beach at the Twin Pines Lake & Ski House is set alongside one of the longest continuous stretches of quiet and unspoiled sand in all of Tahoe. The beach runs uninterrupted for more than a mile from the Lake House along the Edgewood golf course, all the way to Elk Point.
DROP IN
There is no greater joy than boating on Lake Tahoe’s mirrored waters. Unless it is kayaking miles of breathtaking shoreline, paddle-boarding or taking an invigorating swim. Life on the lake sets sail from our historic Julia Morgan Lake House. A more picturesque and hospitable setting one will not find in all of Tahoe. All by itself, this is a reason to call Clear Creek home.
PARKS AND RECREATION
Clear Creek has three trails of its own – the Headwaters, Lookout and Clear Creek Trail – that meander through meadows and climb mountains, including a connection to the legendary Tahoe Rim Trail. There are miles of mountain biking and horseback trails for riders of every skill level, and again, connection to some of the best and most varied riding in the region. Hungry for more? There are a thousand miles of trails ringing the lake, and again, many of the best are right in your backyard.
A RIVER RUNS THROUGH IT
FLY FISHING IN COOL, CLEAR, MOUNTAIN WATERS
Clear Creek members and their guests can head over to Tailwater Ranch and enjoy West Walker River — a classic, high-desert meandering river with runs, riffles and trophy-sized fish. Close to home, you can try your luck on beautiful spring-fed Clear Creek, right near the bridge. This is some of the best fly fishing around, in some of the most majestic scenery in the Sierras, and you sure don’t have to fight the traffic to partake, just the fish.
Winter Lifestyle
Is winter even better than summer? It’s a conversation that is always a win/win, for in winter Twin Pines becomes a cozy base camp for snowy adventure. Owners will keep skis and boards here and step into warm boots for outings at Heavenly. And rest assured, we’ll shuttle you those four short blocks to the gondola. And when you return, you’ll return to a crackling fire, a warm drink and even warmer company.
A WARM & WELCOMING CLUBHOUSE
The wide porch, fireplace and firepit deck at the Clubhouse welcomes in every season, but especially so in the cooler months. Depending on the weather, members will set out to enjoy the trails on foot, snowshoes or cross country skis. This is a place to connect with neighbors, share a warm cup or a light meal, and generally enjoy what Thoreau described as the best thing one can be – a friend to a friend.
ANOTHER BLUEBIRD
From the top of any of the ski resorts that ring the lake you’ll hear people say this is the bluest lake, and bluest sky they’ve ever seen. Our 300+ days of sunshine are but part of the story. Clear Creek offers all the winter fun without the hassles – while the western facing slopes average over 300 inches of snow, Clear Creek averages just 30 inches – so you enjoy all the access without any of the headaches. The lighter snow loads also save on construction costs.
SLED, SNOWSHOE, & STRIDE – THE PATH LESS TRAVELED.
Tahoe’s true majesty reveals itself most intimately in winter and along paths less traveled. In winter the boughs and peaks blanketed in glistening white snow create an amazing, almost spiritual quiet. The quiet so missing in the modern world. It’s a digital detox. These are the roads of Frost and Thoreau and they are here, meandering through the open meadows that ring Spooner Lake, here, winding through Clear Creek’s Jeffery pines, here, right outside your door.
Amenities at Clear Creek Tahoe
Word has gotten out — more than half of our homesites are already spoken for — and a big reason are the family-friendly amenities. This begins with the exciting groundbreaking for our new clubhouse, but it doesn’t stop there. Our nationally acclaimed Coore & Crenshaw golf course is fully mature and playing beautifully. Our Twin Pines Lake & Ski House is your front row seat for a spectacular 4thof July — nothing beats fireworks on Lake Tahoe. It’s also just four blocks from the ski lifts at Heavenly. Overnight guest cottages, a lively pub, our Pro Shop & Provisions for outdoor essentials, and Summit Camp, all make Clear Creek the top choice for Tahoe adventurers.
A CLUBHOUSE WORTHY OF ITS COMMUNITY
Conceived by Hart Howerton, America’s leading club and resort architects , our new clubhouse promises to be a defining community amenity. It has been sited to complement the light footprint of Coore & Crenshaw’s golf course and is worthy of its magnificent natural setting — enjoying grand vistas of the mountains, Jack’s Valley and the dramatic rock outcroppings above. This will be a place to gather and celebrate life in the mountains — healthy, vibrant and neighborly — and provides a legacy environment for all our members.
SUMMIT CAMP
There is no better place to spend long summer days than Summit Camp — the perfect getaway for the whole family. Here are pools for sunning and swimming, bocce, tennis & pickleball, fire pits and games for kids of every age. There’s a water slide through the pines that is in a world of its own – crafted from massive 100-year-old timbers reclaimed from the adjoining Schneider Ranch. Even at high summer in the High Sierras you’ll still be asking for just another minute in a glorious day.
TWIN PINES LAKE HOUSE
While it’s a historic building designed by Julia Morgan, the first thing you’ll notice about our Lake & Ski House is its perfect setting, right on a long stretch of beach. Our deep-water pier is perfect for summer boating in the deep blue waters of Lake Tahoe. And if water skiing isn’t enough for the adrenaline junkies in your family, Twin Pines is just four blocks from some excellent downhill skiing at Heavenly. Your shuttle is waiting, and your boots are warm.
CULINARY DELIGHTS
Our new American Bistro concept extends from the mountain to the lake, offering creative new approaches to the classics. Whether it’s a grab and go lunch for the trail, a picnic on the beach, an energizing lunch at the turn or sunset dinner with 50-mile views all the way to Yosemite, you’ll only be hungry for more.
PRO SHOP & PROVISIONS
The name says it all … everything you’d need for a day on the links and all the little essentials you may have forgotten. So, whether it’s a full set of clubs fitted for your game, a new stylish wardrobe for the course, or a grab and go nosh to take home for lunch, half the fun is browsing and scratching that retail itch.
BE WELL. BE HAPPY.
Clear Creek is a totally moving experience. That is, it’s for people who organize their days around taking full advantage of everything Tahoe has to offer. Sure, there’s downtime, but it’s for recounting the day’s adventures. To this end, course to the courts and to the endless trails for hiking, biking and skiing, you’ll find everywhere at Clear Creek and Tahoe beckons the adventuresome spirit.
