Golf is just the beginning
Sure, we love golf. And we have an incredible, award-winning course on the edge of the Blue Ridge Mountains. But we aren’t your typical golf club. We’re a far cry from the snooty, stick-in-the-mud clubs of the past. We’re different. We focus on fun and games for the whole family, for everyone—no matter who you are or where you come from. Instead of a bunch of rules, we offer free-for-all fun. And we have a slew of family amenities and activities to make that possible. When you add it all up, we give you a dynamic club experience that is centered on joy and the power of play. Now, everyone can use a little of that.
Maybe you’ve looked at other golf clubs. Perhaps you’ve been turned off by the cliquiness. Or the lack of family activities. Maybe you just can’t find the right fit. If any of those are the case, we urge you to give Cherokee Valley a try. Come out and play. Bring the family. See what we’re all about. We think you will discover what so many other families already have: this is the most rewarding club experience in the Upstate. You’ll get access to the facilities and amenities that are important to you — as well as a premier mountain golf course. Even better, you will become part of a dynamic club community that is rare in today’s world. A place where memories are made. Friendships are forged. And families grow closer together. This will be your place to play. And so much more.
Who doesn’t love a good mountain golf course? Problem is, most mountain courses are an hour away from the Greenville area. Not Cherokee Valley. We’re just 20 minutes away—10 from Travelers Rest. Yet we give golfers a masterfully sculpted 18-hole, 6,728-yard, par 72 course with incredible views of Glassy Mountain. This P.B. Dye-designed masterpiece delights golfers with challenging greens and dramatic elevation changes that grant new challenges with every round.
At Cherokee Valley, it’s a new day. A new way. A new place to play. We are a true family club, one that takes into account everyone’s interest, however varied. More than any other club in the area, we bring people together. To swim in the resort-style pool. Drink milkshakes at the Lodge. Walk and bike along our scenic trails. Work out in the fitness facility. Take clinics together. And of course, play golf. Cherokee Valley is a gathering place for friends, families, and future members. And we’re quick to throw a party or hold an event. If it involves play, we’re big fans.

Cherokee Valley is the place to play. And our soon-to-be Lodge will be at the center of it all. Already under construction, the Lodge will serve equally as a launching point to begin the day’s activities, and as an inviting refuge for food, drink, and camaraderie. Architecturally, the Lodge will evoke memories of the ultimate mountain or camp retreat, featuring large windows, finely appointed accents, and rustic comfort. Indoor and outdoor activities await, whether it’s dancing under the stars on a warm evening, sharing a glass of wine by the fire, or playing a game of bocce ball before lunch. The Lodge will also be home to a rooftop organic garden, a well-curated golf shop, and of course, our much-anticipated new restaurant, featuring the renowned Chef Todd Warden, formerly of Table 301 and The Cliffs at Glassy.
