Golf at Briarwood Country Club

We are justifiably proud of our Swing First traditional, uncrowded par 72 golf course with beautiful tree-lined fairways and tees ranging from 4,553 yards to 6,600 yards, a tee to fit everyone’s game.

Briarwood’s private golf experience gives you easier access to scheduling tee times of your choice up to 7 to 10 days in advance and under four hours per round. You will also enjoy a meticulously groomed practice facility consisting of a driving range, putting greens, and an additional chipping / putting range area. Enjoy unlimited golf and free-range balls.

Briarwood’s golf course was designed by Greg Nash and was opened for play in November 1981. Nash was known for building golf courses that can be enjoyed by all, whether you are a beginner or an avid golfer.

Our full-service golf shop can schedule your tee times as well as lessons with one of Briarwood’s golf professionals. We carry the finest in golf attire and equipment with a knowledgeable staff that is eager to help with all your golfing needs.

Golfing at Briarwood is unequaled – we have a plethora of events and different groups you can join to enhance your golfing experience. Watch for special events from fun tournaments to serious world-class competitions with the USGA and the Arizona Golf Association, both of which partner with Briarwood.

Dining and Catering Events at Briarwood Country Club

Casually elegant cuisine coupled with exceptional service and a charming golf course view are the hallmarks of the Cactus Bar and Grille. Our menu offers a full range of traditional favorites as well as creative specials Tuesday through Sunday. With two glowing fire pits on the patio, members can enjoy great conversation and relaxing views while enjoying a cocktail and dining.

Sunday brunch is a tradition at the Club, offering a la carte, continental, and full buffet options from 8am – 1pm the first Sunday of every month, during the season. (November-April)

Gather with friends to enjoy a quick bite or a relaxing dinner after your round. Experience great dinner options like Sautéed Alaskan Halibut, or Cajun Alfredo Pasta along with your favorite cocktail from our full-service bar. Dinner is served after 4pm Tuesday through Saturday. Enjoy live music in the bar on Friday nights!

Did we mention special occasions? From birthdays to weddings, anniversaries, and every event in between, Briarwood does it right! We boast over 6,200 square feet of event space so you can host 4 to 400 of your closest friends and guests. Whether your event is an intimate gathering or extravagant, our experienced staff is ready to help you plan every detail to make sure your day is flawless.

Meetings and corporate events are a breeze at Briarwood. We provide personalized service, menus, and professional accommodations for a variety of business events, including corporate meetings, dinners, team-building sessions, and golf outings. Is an elevated experience designed to celebrate and toast our shared love for exceptional food, wine, and company. These extraordinary events are always themed around a region, season, recipe, or cultural experience. Every course is crafted and expertly paired with select wines.

LIVE MUSIC IN THE BAR

Kick off your weekend right when Briarwood hosts local artists to entertain our members with live music in our very own Cactus Bar and Grille, every Friday night.

BRIARWOOD THEME PARTIES

Come on and rock out for Jukebox Memories, Cheeseburger in Paradise or you know some times Ship Happens, our membership gets into the parties with outfits that will make you smile. Plus, entertainment by popular bands for a night of music and dancing whether you’re a fan of country music, classic rock, or grooving to 60’s classics.

POOL

Enjoy carefree relaxation and the Arizona sun at its best with a refreshing swim in the pool or sip a cool drink and visit with friends. It’s always 84 degrees year around in our swimming pool. The pool area also includes lockers and shower facilities.
