Who can join?
To join, members must belong to a private golf club. Semi-private clubs do not fit well in our model. Members are placed in one of four tiers (best in world, best in country, best in state/province, and other private clubs) depending on the reputation of their best club as determined by the various golf rating and ranking publications.
What functionality does the application offer?
The network connects tens of thousands of like-minded private club members across thousands of clubs worldwide for connecting and playing each other’s clubs as accompanied guests. Members can also attend pre-arranged golfing events posted on the site, enjoy exclusive offers from well known industry brands, track their progress on various golf “top” lists, maintain their golf Rolodex in one easy visual place, and share their experiences in social media feeds.
Will my information be public?
No. Upon joining, a member is only able to see the names of the clubs which have members in the network. No member identity or any other personal information is visible to other members or non-members. We also do not sell any user data to any third party
What are my hosting obligations once I join?
Members have full control on who they want to see requests from, how many times and when they are willing to host. No member is ever “on the hook” to accept any connection request that is not convenient for them.
Who pays for the rounds?
The network is intended to be financially neutral to the host. Where permitted by club’s policies, it is the guest’s responsibility to cover all guest fees, caddy fees, tipping, pro shop expenses, etc. Many clubs have strict rules on guest fees reimbursement. For such clubs, the guest should clarify with the host on expectations.
Does it cost to join?
We charge a nominal membership fee (less than the price of a lost Pro-V) to be a part of the network, with higher tiers available for more benefits. New members are accorded a free trial period till they begin to use the network.
