Membership at Comanche Trace

The Club at Comanche Trace offers a selection of memberships that have been carefully designed to meet your individual needs and preferences and exceeds all you might expect from a private club. With several memberships to choose from — Social to Unlimited Golf — you are sure to find the lifestyle you are looking for. As a non-equity club, our members are guaranteed no assessments. With initial deposits and monthly dues competitively priced compared to the top courses around the state, Comanche Trace continues to offer our members exceptional value and lifestyle. All members will enjoy the benefits of unparalleled amenities and facilities, chef-driven dining at Pinnacle Grill, and year-round member-only events.

Full Golf Membership

Affords members with unlimited golf and practice facility privileges, tennis, pickleball, fitness center, group fitness classes, pool, social and dining privileges.

Non-Resident Membership

Affords members with unlimited golf and practice facility privileges, tennis, pickleball, fitness center, group fitness classes, pool, social and dining privileges. To qualify, members must have a homestead exemption and/or primary residence outside of a 50-mile radius of the club and cannot reside within a 50-mile radius of the club for more than 6 months a year.

Limited Golf Membership

Affords members with limited tee time availability and can enjoy up to 4 rounds of golf per month, practice facility privileges, tennis, pickleball, fitness center, group fitness classes, pool, social and dining privileges. Current tee time availability is anytime Tuesday – Thursday, and AFTER 1:00 PM Friday – Saturday and holidays. Limited Golf Members are not eligible to participate in the Club Championship, Member/Guest Tournament, and other similar club-sponsored events.

Junior Executive Golf Membership

Affords members with unlimited golf and practice facility privileges, tennis, pickleball, fitness center, group fitness classes, pool, social and dining privileges. To qualify, both member and spouse must be 40 years of age or younger.

Social Membership

Affords members with unlimited tennis, pickleball, fitness center, group fitness classes, pool, social and dining privileges.

Golf at Comanche Trace

Comanche Trace offers some of the best golf in the state. Our private 27-hole championship golf course welcomes the best golfers in Texas and routinely hosts qualifier events for USGA events, including the U.S. Open, numerous qualifiers for the PGA Tour’s Valero Texas Open, PGA section competitions, collegiate and junior championships, and a variety of Texas Golf Association events.

Comanche Trace has a unique course design offering beautiful golf holes, natural contouring, and pristine conditions. With a blend of bentgrass, 93 bentgrass and crenshaw, Comanche Trace course conditions are renowned among golfers both near and far.

Our 27-hole golf course is perfect for golfers looking for a challenge and a remarkable climate that offers great conditions all year round. In addition to the course, members and guests are invited to take advantage of our 15-acre practice facility, putting green, and state-of the-art pro shop.

Amenities at Comanche Trace

Our members are treated to an array of resort amenities throughout the community and Club. Challenge yourself on our championship golf course, enjoy elegant or casual chef driven dining in The Pinnacle Grill, pick up a game of tennis or pickleball, or join one of the many social clubs. The Club is committed to providing our members with endless opportunities to connect with other like-minded new friends and live a socially rich life that is full of indoor and outdoor recreation.

Fitness Center

We’re excited to announce that our new 3,000 sq. ft State-of-the-art Fitness Center is currently undergoing renovations to provide an elevated experience for our Members to enjoy very soon. This includes new Freemotion strength training machines and cardio equipment, expanded free weights and stretching area along with a variety of instructor lead fitness classes in our new Movement Studio and personal training sessions from one of our on-staff personal trainers.

Swimming Pool & Hot Tub

The pool is open from May 1st through October 1st for all members. Events may also be booked to take advantage of the poolside setting.

Tennis & Pickleball

The tennis & pickleball courts are open year-round to all club members. Groups will coordinate play or lessons amongst themselves.

Catch and Release Fishing Lake

Lake Comanche is open for fishing to residents and members year round. It is stocked with bass, catfish, and brim. Because it is a catch-and-release program, no fishing license is required. The 4 acres allow avid fishermen to roam around the shoreline to find that perfect catch.

River Park

The 8-acre Guadalupe River Park is available to residents for picnics, walks along the river, great fossil hunting and gatherings of family and friends. The area may be booked as an event setting with reservations, or may be enjoyed at will to enhance your outdoor enjoyment. A small pavilion with fireplace, along with a firepit and stairs that lead to the river are available for all residents of Comanche Trace.

Walking & Biking Trails

There are over 4 miles of crushed granite walking trails with various terrain and a 2 mile off road biking trail available to residents. The surrounding Hill Country is an excellent place for back-road biking and hiking.

Dining & Lifestyle at Comanche Trace

Club House

Our impressive 24,000-square-foot Club House sits atop one of the highest points in Kerr County offering stunning views of the Texas Hill Country. The Club House features fine and casual dining at The Pinnacle Grill, the beautiful Vista Room & Lounge event space offering 360-degree panoramic views, a full-service golf and lifestyle shop, bag storage and men’s and ladies’ locker rooms. Members enjoy no room rental fee for banquet service and private events.

Pinnacle Grill

Sitting at one of the highest points in Kerr County, and offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Texas Hill Country, is The Club at Comanche Trace’s newly rebranded Pinnacle Grill restaurant. Renowned Chef Jay Nash brings a new wave of creativity to his seasonal menu offerings which include an array of locally sourced ingredients and fresh produce from his garden. Don’t miss an opportunity to enjoy our stunning views while enjoying Chef’s newest creations served by our knowledgeable and friendly staff.

The Taphouse

The Taphouse is a member-only amenity. Thoughtfully located next to the practice facility and putting green, The Taphouse is the perfect meet-up spot for golfers starting out on any of our three nines. Grab a spot on the outdoor patio with new pergola to cool off on a hot day, or cozy up to one of the fire pits during the cooler months. The Taphouse currently offers a variety of draft and canned beer options as well as wine, sodas, waters, and an assortment of snacks.

We are excited to announce that a full renovation of The Taphouse is currently underway! Plans include a new Pro Shop, full bar, and outdoor grill featuring gourmet wood fired pizza, hamburgers, brats, sandwiches and other grab & go snacks. Stay tuned for updates on the new & improved Taphouse…coming this Fall exclusively to Comanche Trace Members.

Members can join a variety of social clubs offered at Comanche Trace. With a variety of clubs to select from, members can find their community within Comanche Trace. Our clubs offer a range of activities and interests, providing a unique experience for every member. Just to name a few, members can join clubs such as book club, bridge club, and pickleball club, each offering a unique way to connect with fellow members who share your interests. Looking for a golf club? Golf enthusiasts can join our men’s golf association or lady 9’ers, where you can participate in tournaments and social events. Community Garden

Small, raised-bed plots with individual water spigots are available to residents who wish to grow vegetables or flowers with their neighbors. It is a very friendly place that grows new friendships along with plants. The garden is high-fenced to keep the deer out.
