Bracketology: 100th PGA Championship Style
Maybe it was Tiger’s thrilling, sudden-death victory over Bob May in 2000. Perhaps “Long John” Daly’s unlikeliest of triumphs in ’91 is the one you will always remember. And don’t forget about Bob Tway’s hole-out from the bunker to win in ’86!
Whichever PGA Championship is the one you loved the most, now’s your chance to vote for it. In celebration of the 100th PGA Championship, to be played next month at Bellerive Country Club in St. Louis, leading golf writers selected their 16 best PGA Championships. The PGA of America then put them in a bracket format (as shown above) to determine the best-ever of golf’s only all-professional major.
And now it’s up to you to vote.
Public voting continues through Saturday, Aug. 11, with the winning Championship selection revealed during the final round of the 100th PGA Championship, Sunday, Aug. 12, on CBS.
Round-by-round voting closes at midnight PDT on each day before results are announced.
– Aug. 8: First-round winners will be announced, and the second round begins.
– Aug. 10: Second-round winners are announced, and the third round begins.
– Aug. 11: Third-round winners are announced, and the final round voting begins.
Fans can vote once per day and will be able to register to receive an email reminder when the next round begins.
So, get voting for the best PGA Championship ever!
