A fantastic opportunity to entertain clients, colleagues, family and friends while enjoying quality golf. This membership is available to those under the age of 54. Golfing privileges are similar to a Full Golf Membership, as is the unlimited access to the practice areas, a private and easy online tee time system and a national reciprocal program. Drop in later in the day to play a hole or two before dinner. Upon reaching the age of 55, Associate members may upgrade to a Full-Golf Membership by paying the difference in the membership fee and paying the Full-Golf dues rate.
The Nest offers non-golfers a social experience second to none. The social membership provides you with access to the clubhouse, allowing you to dine or just grab a drink whenever you choose. Join us for lunch, dinner, or snacks in the main dining room, grille room or out on the Veranda. Social Members also have access to two private dining rooms for parties and events. The Club’s staff will take care of your needs, whatever you want, from personalized dietary needs to award winning wine offerings.
Although not a golf-primary membership, Social Members have limited golf privileges throughout the season and unlimited during the off-season. Social members may upgrade to any golf membership and apply the Social membership fee towards that upgrade. Once you sample The Nest, you’ll wonder why you didn’t join sooner!

Two Golf Courses
Gator Course | Hurricane Course
Designed by the “Best Modern Day Golf Course Architect,” Tom Fazio, and considered to be one of his most superb efforts. The Nest provides two completely renovated courses that take full advantage of the landscape and the area’s natural beauty. Course elevation changes range from 11 to 28 feet, a rarity in Southwest Florida. The Club prides itself on providing courses where golfers can revel in a challenging yet enjoyable golf experience. The addition of scoring tees allows golfers of all levels to have an equal playing field. Pelican’s Nest offers innovative design, impeccable conditioning, and unparalleled prestige – a combination that has earned it the status of Southwest Florida’s premiere member-owned club.
Our roots date back to 1985, when master golf architect Tom Fazio was invited, to craft Pelican’s Nest Golf Course. The course was an immediate sensation, taking home multiple honors and was ranked as the “#3 Best Public Golf Course” in the United States by Golf Digest, giving Mr. Fazio his first appearance on the list of “Best New Courses”. Pelican’s Nest Golf Courses were recognized every year since 2001 by Audubon International, with a Certificate of Achievement as a “Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary” a real testament of the membership to protect and enhance our environment.
“Located south of Fort Myers in Bonita Springs and just inland from the Gulf of Mexico is Tom Fazio’s gracefully designed Pelican’s Nest Golf Club at Pelican Landing. It is a well-thought-out design, carved from a forest of live oaks and scrub pines on ideal sandy soil. There’s nothing flashy about Pelican’s Nest, it’s just a natural-looking layout that encourages you to return and play it again and again.”
